Lots of potential!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the TV mainly for streaming and video games, the HDR option is a must have and 4k and FPS is fantastic for such a TV i play high quality video games that require a lot of graphics and the speakers are also pretty cool it can even give you a 3d like sound! The only downside I'd say is one, the controller has too many buttons should be more slick and simple, also the menu is a bit too chunky ( too much going on within the quick apps) and the interface of hovering from app to app icon is laggy/not consistant

Dont buy

extremely laggy, also the remote feels super cheap and outdated. dont know why everytime i press a button on the remote it takes 2-5 seconds for the tv to respond. picture is 5/10 only because blacks are not deep whatsoever so it just ruins the whole look of the picture. would not recommend buying.

Isaac24: Thank you for sharing your experience with the TU7000 TV. I am sorry that you are seeing some lag when you use your remote. Have you tried Device Care option? Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. Regarding the darkness of your picture, Samsung is aware of the problem, and a new firmware update will be released soon to address this issue. Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit. You may want to enable automatic updates for conveniences. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update. Love this tv!

I've never had any issues with Samsung so when I decided to upgrade from my little 32” I was about to go for the 55” but then I saw this one. Clear and crisp picture, sound is great as well, no real need for a sound bar. Setup was easy and luckily I haven't experienced any wifi or picture issues. Remote is easy to use as well as the built in apps and App Store is user friendly. You can't go wrong with Samsung! I'm happy with this purchase.

Ease of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was in the market for a new TV and decided on the TU7000 and after a couple months I'm glad we chose this model. Can change apps easily and quickly, and the quality is amazing. The only flaw is the buttons on the remote are very sensitive and some get stuck once in awhile.

Clear picture and sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 58" smart tv is impressive. If planning on mounting please be advised that no mounting screws are included with the tv. Once we were able to get the tv mounted we were impressed with the clarity of the picture and the quality of the sound. Setting up the tv itself was easy. Setting up the apps for streaming was a tad difficult resulting from the small buttons on the remote. We kept having to start over due to accidently hitting the home button unintentionally. We have loved the ease of going from app to app and the easy to understand home menu. The television has light sensing which adjusts the brightness to the light in the room, this has been a surprisingly nice addition. It is amazing what a difference it can make when a light geta turned off or on while watching the tv. We are still learning what all the tv can do but we are sure impressed with what we have already got a chance to experience.

Perfect TV for a new space!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with the dimensions of this TV, as it fits perfectly in my new apartment! The quality is great, and the apps along with the Samsung TV+ guide is helpful and a nice perk. The remote could be a bit more updated, as it's a standard remote not the sleek and modern remote from other models, but still functional. The fast start up and ease of use within the TV is great for all ages and again is fast. If you are looking for a beginner friendly TV with high quality playback for any room, you gotta check this model out!

Awesome Tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my review for the Samsung tv we received. First, I noticed how easy the tv was to set up. The leg installation was very easy as they just snapped on. Everything looked good upon getting it powered on. The screen size at 65 inches and the picture were flawless with brilliant colors. My living room looks like a theater. One feature I liked was the option to use it with Alexia. The remote was another feature I liked very much. It's self setup was a breeze. The tv is a must buy. Samsung makes a quality product.

Human interface sucks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture is fine, as one would expect with a current tech TV. However, the remote control hand head controller is poorly designed, ergonomically. Small lettering requires perfect vision or glasses and lots of light. Having to turn on the light and get glasses out to navigate is a pain in the butt. The interface on the TV screen for "Search" function is one long line that has to be negotiated and when selecting a character, extra choices show up on all sides of the selected character. SHould have been a QWERTY or matrix box, so much more efficient. The audio output doesn't remember the last setting when choosing a blue tooth device. Always defaults to SPEAKERS. One has to select every time to use the bluetooth option through a cumbersome SETTING menu. THe TV will pass through to the speakers a loud, buzzing noise if the blue tooth device is not on! Stupid in this day of electronic circuitry to mute noise. Clunky is my best description of the use of this TV.

To assist you in learning the various features, functions, and settings of your remote, you can download the AU8000 TV's Remote Control Leaflet on Samsung's website under 'Support' (top right corner) > 'Manuals & Software'> TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can select the AU8000 under Crystal UHD TVs > A Model Lineup. Additionally, you can find other guides and manuals to assist you with your TV's features further. Please keep in mind that some settings, such as Bluetooth, will not be remembered, as these devices are used on-demand. When the TV turns off, the Bluetooth device will disconnect, and the TV won't reconnect automatically unless you choose to pair the device again. When connecting via Bluetooth, there are a few things to keep in mind: 1. You can't use Bluetooth devices, and the Wi-Fi Speaker Surround Setup feature simultaneously. 2. Compatibility issues may occur, depending on the Bluetooth device (A Mobile exclusive headphone may not be available, depending on the environment). 3. Lip-sync errors may occur. 4. The TV and Bluetooth device may disconnect, depending on the distance between them 5. A Bluetooth device may hum or malfunction: a) When a part of your body is in contact with the receiving/transmitting system of the Bluetooth device or the TV. b) When the device is subject to electrical variation from obstructions caused by a wall, corner, or office partitioning. c) When the device is exposed to electrical interference from the same frequency-band devices, including medical equipment, microwave ovens, and wireless LANs. Great picture on this TV!

Love all the features and the interface
