Hand down there is no other Hot Chocolate that can compare to Stephen's. Whether you use water, add milk, ice cream, cream, marshmallows, Stephen's Hot Chocolate tastes the best.

First ingredient is sugar, followed by coffeemate equivalent. Last is cocoa. Miserably sweet. Added 1/2 pure cocoa to 1/2 this to make it drinkable as hot chocolate.

I have been waiting for this to show up again...it really is the best tasting. Makes the most delicious cup of cocoa, mocha (add hot coffee instead of water) and hot chocolate bombs !

Sadly the package was left at the back door-Parking lot in the pouring rain. Glad the Hot Cocoa was in containers(labels were soaked and peeled off).otherwise all would have been ruined.

Ordered this for hot cocoa bombs for Halloween and it was a hit! Everyone loved the cocoa and I appreciate that it's in a huge container so I have enough for Christmas as well and won't have to fight at the store for cocoa ;-)

No matter whethere using more - or less - water or milk, it tasted "thick." Wasn't pleasant at all. Even the children wouldn't drink it. Will not purchase again.

Don’t be afraid to add extra teaspoons. Using a sixteen or twelve ounce mug you have to. Very rich and creamy and very decadent. Does not taste too sweet or sugar. I pick up chocolate rich creamy goodness. 1/3 can left. Buying more. This is four times what Sam’s charges if you buy it elsewhere.

The people who rated this as too sweet or not good probably followed the directions on the container. I made many servings of this mix. The suggested amount of cocoa mix is too much. I adjusted it to 4 to 5 rounded teaspoons to 10 oz. of water. Add to water not before. This was good for me. Topped with whipped cream and it was delicious. Also added about 3 teaspoons to a cup of black coffee, no cream or sugar. Also added whipped cream. I will be buying again.

The cocoa tastes okay, very milk chocolate flavor. Personally, I prefer Nestle or Swiss Miss. I didn't like how it wasn't sealed and only had a plastic wrap around the lid, therefore covering my box in cocoa powder. Plus, it's not that sanitary to not have a sealed lid. I wouldn't buy it again for the higher cost. It should be packaged better for a "gourmet" product.
