I bought this Kayak a week ago, and I took it out for it's maiden voyage at the the end of the week. I absolutely love this Kayak. However, the paddle is not that great. I was pushing through some slow rapids and had to push off to keep from getting stuck. It didn't take much pressure, but the paddle bent. I put my hand over the bend in order to protect it from further damage. A little while later during normal paddling, it bent further and caused a crease in the metal and then broke. I had to paddle with half the paddle for the rest of the float. Again, I love the Yak. I will have this Yak for a while. But, now I have to get a new paddle and can't go floating this weekend like I was planning. I tried calling customer service and sending an email, but I have not had a response and have not been able to get anyone on the phone.

I'm a newbie to kayaking and also wanted to be able to fish. I bought the combo package ( 2 kayaks) and they came faster than expected. It seemed quite large but then it isn't when you're on it. It tracks fairly well..as far as I can tell. The "2 compartments" are actually just ports into the hull without a divider. The only other recommendation I would make is the information on the paddle size (cm) and if it floats. I have no clue what size it is, but it does float after testing. I added some floating ball scuppers that I'd seen on Youtube and they work perfectly. I'm hoping to have a lot of fun on them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this last year just for floating, however, since then my husband has turned it into his fishing boat. He loves all the storage and the features it has. Super comfortable to spend hours on the lake with. He has added a few after market items but mostly it's perfect just the way it came. Sometimes he even just practices his casting from it on the lawn!

I got this kayak for Christmas and was very excited to try it out. I had to wait for it to warm up so it took a while to go. Have taken 4 trips and kayak takes on water every time, so much that after less than an hour I have to be back on shore. At first I thought it was me doing something wrong, but found a crack in the seam underneath the kayak. Kayak is so full of water 2 grown men cannot pick it up but have to turn it over to drain before putting it back on the truck. Submitted a warranty claim and still have not had a response. I have called multiple times and the office is closed or too many calls in front of me.

I bought this for water play and some light fishing. Love it, floats great, handles good on the water. What I don’t like is the bottom seat cushion was already tearing and came loose at 2 of the grommets and the paddle is bowed from how it was shipped and stored at the store. Will definitely be looking for a better seat and a different paddle.

We have owned this kayak for a few months. This is our FIRST ever kayak. We have owned boats for years and love the outdoors. Once we decided to get a set we had no idea just how much we would use them. They are durable, very stable, very comfortable (we did add upgraded DIY seats) we are in the kayaks an average of 6-8 hours at a time so we changed the seats. Pros- stable (I added a rope to the stabilizer in the middle front and use it to assist in standing up to fish. I can reach behind me to get anything I need from the back without it flipping or tilting over. Fishing pole holders are very easy to get to and get poles in and out of. Cons- storage is open in the hull and it roles all over. We added containers to put things on so they don't go all over inside. cup holders need to be a little deeper, cups will fall out when getting in and out of the kayak but not a big problem. We have used them in lakes, rivers and rapids. Rocky bottoms or smooth sailing isn't a problem for these. We use DIY things to make our Kayak fit our needs depending on where we are at. Would love for them to have more extras for us to purchase. Overall you will NOT regret getting this kayak.

This kayak is great, I got one last Christmas as a gift and have taken it out to fish plenty of times. Unfortunately came with a huge indention on the right side but it might have been from the packaging, it doesn’t take away from its performance except it makes it a little noisy when against the current. I received the older version which is great and has thick plastic material; however, I bought the newer version for my dad recently and realized just how weak the materia is. The plastic is way thinner and it is not as reliable. Lifetime should use the same plastic as they did with their older versions for the best/tip performance!

I received this kayak for father's day and was able to take it out. let my wife try it and the next day I bought one for her. they are very stable and comfortable have taken them to lakes around Lake Tahoe and they are great and lots of fun to explore on.

I got two of these for my sons, 9 and 10. I didn't want to spend the money on a 12' for them because I didn't know if they would love them or not. My thought was that I would need to upgrade them in a year or two. These things are awesome! I'm 6' 230lb and I can totally use them. I should have saved more money and bought myself one of these!

Purchased mine on sale for a lifetime store. Took it out for the first time last week and since it was my first time on a kayak it was really weird. After a little bit I was really comfortable moving and fishing in it. Haven't used the dry compartment but its huge. The holes up where the legs go are kind of irritating because water comes in them and gets on your pant legs but when its hot who cares. It was the best fishing trip by far, caught allot of Crappie on it.
