I’ve had two of these kayaks for about two years now and they look brand new. They are great on the water! Easy to maneuver, quick when needed, and they offer the right amount of stability that my kids are able to play off the side by climbing on and off. I have the seat back and wouldn’t have it any other way. Surprised at the comfort the seat back provides combined with the slots for the various feet positions. I’d highly recommend to anyone in the market for a kayak.

I’m 5’11”, 190 lbs and 61 years old. The kayak was surprisingly easy to lift onto my truck racks probably because the handles are placed at a good balance point for the boat. Upon entering the kayak I was disappointed that the surface water came up high in the scupper holes and splashed up as I moved into position. The seat seemed comfortable, however after a few hours I decided to use a stadium seat from now on. Other than these two points the rest of the day was great. There was ample room for me and my gear. The kayak’s width, (beam), makes it more stable than others, though I didn’t attempt to stand. The V bow and trailing skegg made it move well through the calm lake water. Moving closer to the bay with some wind required extra effort. Simply put, if you’re just out to explore, have some fun and do some light fishing, this is all you need.

After about 10 trips out I feel like I can give an honest review of this kayak. First off, it is pretty stable and seems to be very tough. It’s light enough one guy can pack it but has handles on front and back as well as both sides for two people to carry. The rod holders are in a good position and the third rod holder is an awesome included feature. Plenty of storage front and back. The paddle that is included seems sturdy and I can really get the kayak moving with it. Tracking seems decent, I did find myself drifting to the left or right at times but overall is decent. All hardware seems to be installed properly. The seat for me is about a 7/10 as far as comfortability, it is adjustable. I would really recommend this kayak to anyone who is looking to purchase their first recreational kayak. Overall I really enjoy using it and it will be used on many more fishing trips!

I bought 2 of theses kayaks and so glad I did. They’re pretty light weight and easy to load on top of the SUV. They look great, proven to be water tight and easy to handle. We took them out on the lake and had plenty of storage space for towels, snacks, etc. The bungee holds allow us to take along camp chairs and beach canopies for a full day of fun. A definite 2 thumbs up.

I got this kayak about 4 years ago and I use this thing at least 3 times a month on the ocean, rivers, or lakes. It was overall good until the bottom of the kayak started to get a hole and it was a big one. I have not talked to customer service but hopefully they can help. Overall the durability is not the best but its a good kayak.

I contacted Lifetime Customer Service via their web form to see if I could purchase a replacement nose pug for my Angler 120, I was just looking for a price but John immediately shipped out a complete assembly at no charge. I thanked him, advising I was not anticipating such a quick response nor at no cost and that I was also missing a cleat to secure the rear shock cord system. John responded by advising one had been added to the shipment free of charge. In an era of sub-par customer service this is incredible and a welcome change. Some may say don't get excited they are relatively inexpensive parts, I say it is Lifetime's hassle free approach that made the difference. I give John and Lifetime 10 stars for exceeding this customer's expectations! My boat is whole again and I am very satisfied :-)

Has just enough room to carry his equipment. Bought a cart from lifetime also so he can roll it to the lake on his own. Of course we use it when the family goes out to play. Great quality!,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bot 2 of these kayaks a couple of years ago. They are really durable. When buying a kayak, you want to make sure the stability and durability of the kayaks are up to standard. This large size kayak is very stable and durability is much better than the street brand. I don't have any leaks so far after a couple of years of use. I store them outside under the sun and rain. It does not seem to really affect them much in terms of UV. This is perfect for family as I have a number of kids. the tandem works very well with having 2 people on board.

I got this kayak for Christmas and was very excited to try it out. I had to wait for it to warm up so it took a while to go. Have taken 4 trips and kayak takes on water every time, so much that after less than an hour I have to be back on shore. At first I thought it was me doing something wrong, but found a crack in the seam underneath the kayak. Kayak is so full of water 2 grown men cannot pick it up but have to turn it over to drain before putting it back on the truck. Submitted a warranty claim and still have not had a response. I have called multiple times and the office is closed or too many calls in front of me.

I got two kayak for Christmas last year. One was a Sun Dolphin the other was the Tamarack Angler 100. Took the family out to try them both kayaks out and everyone loved the Tamarack. Throughout the day the kids and adults fought over the tamarack. It had a better more comfortable seat. Everyone said it was more stable and they felt safer even when the wind picked up. I told my wife I was going to modify it more for fishing she told me "Not the Tamarack that ones my favorite do it to the other one." So I bought another Tamarack and couldn't be more happy.
