My family is pretty snobby when it comes to ice cream in general, and while I fully appreciate the economic value for quantity, the ingredients are also undesirable and concerning: High Fructose Corn Syrup, Sugar, Corn Syrup.. Carrageenan! (Some scientists believe that carrageenan can cause inflammation, digestive problems, such as bloating and irritable bowel disease (IBD), and even colon cancer. Studies based on cells and animals). Compare that to the ingredient list for a 'healthier' ice cream with minimal ingredients, such as *Tillamook, and you immediately see the difference. You taste it too! *cream, skim milk, milk, sugar, pasteurized egg yolks, vanilla extract, tara gum, guar gum, vanilla bean, and natural flavor. Most of us are looking for safer, cleaner ingredients, even in our snack foods. I hope Sam's Club (Wal-Mart) would consider bringing in a healthier ice cream option that is as affordable for families as their Member's Mark brand. /Thank you!

Best ice cream and best price in town. This ice cream is smooth and creamy. It is so delicious. We took a bucket to a 4th of July celebration, and everyone loved it!! For less than 8 dollars you get a 5-quart bucket of ice cream. We can fix banana splits every night on a budget thanks to Sam's prices.

I bought this item a couple of months ago and still have over half of it. This brand of Ice cream has the taste of very low quality, with no great flavor. Back in the day, there was an Ice-cream alternative that was called "Ice Milk", and this product tastes similar to that. "Members Mark" is Sam's private brand, but some other popular brand Ice-Cream items would be great in their inventory as well.
