[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought Skyfort II and my children love it! It's perfect for a small or big yard. All the parts came in complete, no damages to the wood, and the instruction manual was easy to follow, step by step very understanding.

We researched many playsets and this one came up as the most afforable and kid friendly. The wood looks sharp abd the play area is big. We thought the online pictures were photo cropped to make it look bigger, but after installed it was large. We hired some guys to come put it together and they did it in about 10 hours. Our kids like it a lot and we would buy again.

This Skyfort is wonderful and quite solid. This 68-year-old grandma put it together with only a little help. It took me a week though. I finished it on Saturday, and my 3 and 6-year-old grandchildren loved it. Their joy was short lived, though, because a massive storm with high winds swept through Dallas on Sunday and uprooted a huge tree that fell on the entire playhouse and crushed it. It was completed less than 24 hours. All of us are devastated but grateful that the Skyfort kept the tree from landing on the house. My children and grandchildren are safe, albeit without gas and electricity for probably several days. This is hard to explain to two little ones. I’m not sure what we’ll do next. Even if I can figure out how to buy this playhouse again, I don’t live in Dallas and don’t know when I could put another one together. Maybe we’ll figure it out. Two crying grandchildren are rather motivating. Thanks also for the BILT interactive software. I loved it. It made assembly so much easier.

I bought this a few months ago. My kids really love it but im really unhappy with the slide. On of the main features and no matter how much we try to keep the plastic in place it keeps popping out at the bottom. Really upset since that's the favorite part and we paid quite a bit and we cant even use the slide 😕

This swingset turned out really great. Instructions were a little unclear at times and the bolts had a residue on them so they had a hard time grabbing to the drill when screwing them in. Also, the slide is a bit floppy but everything else was great. Kids love it.

After reading all the reviews on here it helped a ton putting it together. I never review anything, but I will start now. The swing set is perfect when it’s put together, but it does take some time. Read all the reviews and you’ll know all the hang ups. When you’re confused, take a look at the picture and it will usually help. I got turned around a couple times and had to take some items apart, but it was minimal. I think the biggest suggestion I can give you is to spend the time sorting everything when you get it. I was missing the one inch wood screws and the telescope was smashed. Customer Service took my call and they were delivered the next day. Make sure you have a lot of room to lay the wood out, it’s amazing how many pieces this thing actually comes in. I sorted everything in alphabetical order and numeric order. Finding boards was easy. I would also suggest putting all the bags of Fasteners in large containers. I just put them in large zip lock bags, but plastic containers would work well. I received it on a Thursday and started that night after work. With the use of a spotlight I was able to work for about 4 hours on Thursday and Friday. My wife helped maybe 1-2 hours a night after the kids went to bed. Then on Saturday I was up and started by 7am and worked until 11pm. I did have help from 10am until 4pm. So all and all it took me about 23-25 hours with I would say 8-9 hours of help from another person. 6 hours with another handy male and about 3 with my wife. I really wanted it done by Sunday am so I was working pretty hard with minimum breaks, but overall I think it goes together pretty straight forward. Read the directions carefully and print more than one set if you have help. My 2.5 daughter loves it! Good luck…

We have had this playset for about a year and it is holding up well. There are many different activities and it can easily entertain 5-6 kids without them running into each other. I love the crows nest, but our kids don't go up there yet, but the slide and swings are a big hit. The climbing wall, ladder and monkey bars make me a little nervous because our kids are still small, but even our not quite 2 year old navigates the ladder well, and our not quite four year old fly up the climbing wall with ease. Assembly was a major task, but the directions are adequate if not great and you will get there if you inventory the parts and take a measured approach. I have some concerns about long term look and durability, as some of the boards seem a little thin for some of the stresses they endure (kids swinging on them, running and jumping on them), and the finish is also not great and is starting to show wood underneath already. However, until these become major issues rather than just speculative concerns, I am fine.

The kids love to play with all the features, but it is also time consuming to assemble. Just plan on having plenty of time , and one other person. 1 person to read the manual , and 1 to go grab the parts and then assemble. very happy with it .. no parts missing and it all fit the way it was supposed to.

We bought this for our daughter who will be 3 soon with hopes that she would be able to play with this set for a long time. We don't quite have the set together yet, but I think she will get many years of enjoyment out of it. It comes in 4 big boxes that have to be carried by at least two people. We took out the hardware (screws, bolts, etc.) first and I separated them into a couple dozen throw away food storage containers and labeled the outside of the plastic container. This was a huge help! It has made the small pieces easy to find, and keeps all 400 of some of the screws together in one place. We were missing a couple of bolts and some flat washers, but we just went to our neighborhood hardware store and picked some up. The directions are a little difficult to interpret. They're often vague and the pictures aren't helpful sometimes. My husband, who is extremely handy and has built many things for our home, and my dad who is very good at building stuff as well, have found that they've had to undo some of the steps because the directions weren't explicit and it wasn't until three steps later they discovered that they had attached something incorrectly. This is very frustrating and has caused the project to take a bit longer than it probably should have taken. Plan on spending quite a bit of time working on this. We started the set on a Friday night after my husband got off work. We worked on it off and on during the weekend because it was very rainy and stormy. We've worked on it most nights after our daughter goes to bed as well, but there are 103 steps to putting the set together and some steps require screwing 16 boards in place, for example. So, it takes a while. My husband recommends having a cordless drill with at least two batteries so that you can keep recharging the batteries. We have used the drill as a screwdriver and socket wrench, and this has cut down on the time spent screwing stuff together. If you can, try to have someone help you put it together. That way, one person can retrieve the parts you need, while the other person puts it together. This also cuts down on time. Overall, we're pleased with the quality of the set and the priced we paid. We would definitely recommend this to friends and family. Our daughter is chomping at the bit to get out there and play on the set!

I bought this set last December as a Christmas present for my two boy, and it's been wonderful. Building it when the snow is starting to fall is a very bad idea, as you want to take your time and pay close attention to the instructions (near LEGO quality). My only issues have been with broken screws since it's seen the summer sun. Higher quality screws would significantly increase the cost, so I'm not bothered replacing the few the snapped.
