It's fun for the grandkids, however when putting it together some of the bolt holes didn't line up and required re-drilling. Outside of that it was easy enough to put together, their technical writer could have done a better job in writing the instruction manual. As I found it faster to jump ahead and build somethings first while assembling to Skyfort...

This was purchased for my grandchildren. Great quality, they love the finished product! Lots of parts! Arrived in 4 large boxes, stacked about 8ft long by 4ft high all together. Took a quality team of people for assembly. Parts organizer, direction reader, lead construction and many extra hands. Two full days to complete. Download the app, it helped!

The sky fort is a really great playhouse! It has all the features we wanted. It is definitely large but because of its shape you are able to find several angles of set up that work It did take a very long time! About 40 hours for two people (80 work hours) and you definitely need two people a lot of the time. Organize all wood and hardware first alphabetically out of the box Only downfall is some of the coating on the wood is peeling a bit but not much ALo, we had a lot of leftover hardware... not sure why!

This Skyfort II is awesome! My grandchildren, ages 6 and 3, love it. The set is incredibly strong. It weighs almost 750 pounds, so it is sturdy for sure. The individual pieces may seem lightweight but, when assembled together, are very sturdy and secure. The whole family can play on this set. Adults can stand up straight inside the clubhouse. This is exactly what I wanted for my grandkids. It has so many areas where they can play, and they will continue to grow into it. I expect it to serve them well for several years!

My husband and I purchased this set for our two kids, ages almost 8 and 4, for Christmas. It was delivered the day after Christmas and took us about a week to build, but the kids were SOO happy with it - they would stay outside until after it was dark every day to play on it! The assembly is no joke; it took four adults the better part of five days to get it all together. But my husband and my dad (both engineers!) actually enjoyed figuring it all out and making it happen! It's definitely worth it to take all the parts & lumber out of the boxes and organize it a bit before you start building. That really does expedite each step because it's easier to collect your supplies. Overall, instructions are pretty clear - we only had a couple things we had to undo and correct - and the structure itself is both beautiful and fun. Our oldest (almost 8) can do everything on it with no problem and still has plenty of room to grow into it. Our 4 year old can't do the monkey bars yet, but LOVES the swings and being able to climb up to the fort multiple ways. They spend time on it every day and are enjoying having their friends over to play too :) For any adults wondering, this set is definitely a good size. My husband can do the monkey bars without his feet touching the ground and both he and I can stand up inside the main fort without hitting our heads! The smaller, shorter section is a little low for an adult, but both our kids have no problems.

Shipping was faster than expected. They sent an email 4 days after it shipped with all of the requirements prior to installation. It’s a lengthy list that cost us $2500 to do and should be provided prior to purchasing. The freight company (Estes) left the 800lbs pallet halfway in the street even though i was there and asked for it to be moved onto the property. The installation was fantastic!!! John exceeded all of our expectations and the swing set looks great!

Beautiful, well designed play-set. We paid the extra to have it assembled, but need to call and speak with someone regarding the assembly. Improper assembly could void the warranty and could affect the life of the playset. Not to mention cause injuries. I’m sure we will need some replacement parts to correct. See pictures below. I will call Sam’s Club tomorrow and will update this after their response.

This was the perfect addition to our backyard ! It’s well built , beautiful and functional for the kiddos . We love it they love and we appreciate the thought and craftsmanship that went into it . I’ll be making more purchases from backyard discovery in the future .

We bought this for our grandchildren. They love it but it really is cheap looking. Considering what it cost, it is fine.We hired a contractor (and his helper) to put it together and it took about 3 full days. Several pieces were broken or missing so the contractor had to improvise.

Wood pieces are not as sturdy as other sets. Adult climbing ladder into tower seemed unstable and creaked under strain of 125 lbs. Opening where monkey bars attach to set a hazard for younger users. Dimensions of opening to slide, rockwall and crows nest very low so even 5 year old has to really duck down. Grandsons like it but won't grow with 5 year old as much as we hoped. Due to smaller beams on monkey bars, and swings will be more difficult to add on to set for features for older child.
