We assembled this amazing Skyfort II play set and was delighted to see it come together! The assembly was straight forward and even included spare hardware, even though we didn't need it. We sent our grand kids pictures of the completed Skyfort and they can't wait for their visit to grandma and grandpa's place later this month. I am completely satisfied with this play set and highly recommend the Skyfort II.

I have had this swing set for over a month. I believe you should own something a while before reviewing it so here it goes. The assembly was pretty tough and it took me around 30 hrs to do so. I had help 1of the 4 days from my father but the rest was all on my own. It can be done with one person, just takes a little longer. My 2 girls (4 & 2) and I play on this set almost every day after we get home. Size is great and quality is also. I would highly recommend, as others have, to group and lay every peice out before getting started. Some of my pieces were not stamped or were unreadable at best. The instruction book was detailed enough for me to figure it out but it made tougher than it had to be. Its a running joke, but no kidding I had an excessive amount of bolts/screws left over so dont be alarmed. I reread the book to make sure I didn't missing anything and believe they add extra just to be sure, (at least I'm hoping anyway). Other than the extra bolts, it was a masterful assembly by a true master. But seriously, nothing has fell apart yet and It is more sturdy than I expected. My 2 girls absolutely love it and I feel it is well worth the money. Definately has more detail with the windows, corner bracing, rails, and plenty of handles than any other I looked at. Extra little features that make it look great in your back yard.

Bought this bad boy from Sam's Club & couldn't be happier. Took some hours to finish, but if you prepare & organize well prior to the day of install, it goes very smoothly. Make sure to print multiple copies of the instruction manual for the people helping, and organize the wood pieces and parts by category (or even by ‘step'). It would not go nearly as smoothly if we didn't.. No creaks, No leaks, and am fully expecting this to last us years. Thanks Backyard Discovery!

This is awesome! Build took my dad and I about 3 days. Everything was well labeled and the end result is fantastic! My 2 year old loves climbing and swinging on this play set! The dogs also enjoy staying under it for shade during the heat of the day.

Sams club sells this for lower than any other place, but honestly, still not sure if it's worth the price. The wood is pretty soft, but it seems to hold the recommended weight good enough. The manufacturer did leave out 3 pieces, so I'd inventory everything before assembling it. As for installation, unless you want a headache, do it yourself. The company they use has a history of bad reviews and they were not willing to work with me on some items. The assembly isn't too bad, just time consuming. All in all, even with the slight negatives, the kids are happy and that's what matters

Very nice once it's assembled but extremely difficult to put together . Every piece has to be screwed together . I would have never made this purchase had I known this . I payed more to have someone put it together than the actual cost of the swing set. Also needs to be sealed to protect from the environment .

Directions say 20 hours estimated time to put together. We did it in about 15 with 3 people. Definitely need previous skill, especially using multiple power tools. It was annoying that you had to pre drill some holes, but all in all it was pretty self-explanatory. Looks great, kids love it. Be prepared for a hard day lol

Pros: 1. Fun mid-range swing for the price 2. The children enjoy it 3. Fast delivery and easy scheduling Cons: 1. The boards with the lookout tower should be one slab and not planks because sand/ particles fall on the kids underneath who are swinging. 2. The swings are a bit low so need adjusting 3. The monkey bars could have an extra bar to provide the needed length for smaller children to reach 4. The people who put together the swing set missed screws, studs, and altogether some need to be screwed again. Some screws were even screwed too much which has caused the wood to break and create splinters and broken pieces. We've had to make several adjustments in only 1 week. 5. The wood has huge splinters! Advise children to wear shoes at all times.

Our little boys have loved this playground. It takes quite a bit of time to build and the instructions are not very detailed. Always examine each piece of wood for pilot holes and make sure it is oriented correctly. It is a little creaky and if three kids or even two larger kids are swinging at the same time the post is very creaky and moves a little bit. I have a 1 year old and I'd like to crawl up on the structure to help him since he is so young but I'm not confident it will hold my 130 lbs which makes me a little sad. I would have liked it to feel a little more secure. Overall we are very happy with it and the kids love it.

This play set is an excellent value for the price. My kids love playing on it, as well as all of the other neighborhood kids! It did not take long to receive the play set. My one MAJOR complaint about this purchase - I paid the extra amount to have it installed. That was a nightmare! The manufacturer of the play set uses a contract company to build it. I got an appointment time for a Monday between 8 am-12 pm. The installers didn't call me until Monday afternoon at 3:00 pm to tell me they would be at my house at 5:00 pm! They worked on it until 8:30 pm. They told me they would be back the next day (Tuesday) to finish it in the afternoon. They didn't arrive until 7:30 pm on Tuesday night and their supervisor called to tell me they would finish that night. He insisted that they were professionals and could complete it in the dark! I told him that I didn't want them working in the dark because this was something my kids would be playing on and I didn't want any mistakes made. So they worked on it until 8:30 pm. During this time, I called the corporate office of the manufacturer to complain and they said that the installers would be back the next day (Wednesday) around 3:00 to finish it. I got a call at 8:30 am the next morning from the installers saying that "their scheduled cleared up" and they would be here to finish the play set that morning. They worked on it all day again until 8:30 pm and pretty much completed it. There was an issue with ladder because one of the boards wasn't included in the box. The installers told me they had informed their supervisor about the missing board and that the supervisor would call the order in to have the missing board shipped to me. Then they would be back to install it. About a week passed by and I still had not heard from the manufacturer about the replacement board, so I called. They had my play set listed as being completed and had no idea about the missing board. They even looked at the pictures that were taken of the play set by the installers and could clearly see that the ladder was missing and the play set was not completed. They quickly sent the replacement board and fixtures and had someone different come out to repair it (per my request). And now the play set is complete and my kids are happy. Bottom line - do not pay the extra amount to Sam's Club to have it installed. Find your own company/person/handy man to do it.
