I love this product and use it every day under my foundation. It does go on white but within minutes its gone. I cannot feel it on my skin at all and unlike regular sunscreens that leave the face feeling and looking like an oil slick, this product does not do that! I recommend it to everyone! You don't need much either (maybe thats what the others were doing..too much) I absolutely love this product! As for the other reviewer that said it stunk, I do not detect a scent at all (and I have a good sniffer!)

I am Korean and I have used A LOT of Korean beauty store's sunscreen. As we all know we, Koreans, have pretty cheap but high quality beauty products. When I came to America, the first beauty item I got was this sunscreen and it was great for my oily and sensitive skin. There was no significant quality difference between Korean sunscreens, some high end ones, and this Neutrogena one. I have acne-pron skin and got some laser treatments past few weeks so basically my skin is as sensitive as it is right now. However this sunscreen does not irritate my skin at all. I do have a question on the PA part of the sunscreen. Is it PA+++? Because it all comes down to PA when talking about protection from the sun...

I actually bought this today and was so excited to use it, a product I could maybe even wear under my makeup. Well I washed my face and a couple hours later applied it to my face and let me tell you!!!! It burned so bad I was in agonizing pain!! I immediately had to wash it off and I have sensitive skin but this was bad it left my face red for at least 45 minutes and I didn't even have it on a full minute. Gosh I'm so defeated I have the hardest time trying to find moisturizers that aren't going to burn but this one was by far the worst!! I use a ton of Neutrogena products makeups, face wash, soap, chapstick. If anyone has any suggestions please please let me know... I would like it to have SPF but if not that's okay too, something I can wear under my makeup (as I'm a beauty guru influencer) it would be nice. And I need it to be Neutrogena also! Thanks!

I have used Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SPF 45 sunblock for years and had great results. That product is hard to find now, so I tried the SPF 55 instead. Despite the packaging's claims that it disappears quickly, it leaves a greasy white film that remains for hours. That film is like an oily titanium dixide film, or white lithium grease. It doesn't go away and remains sticky, so that dirt and even small insects are trapped in the film. Awful. I also found that I'm strongly allergic to something in its ingredient list. My skin turned red and flakey, much like a sunburn where I had applied the sunblock. This might be the oxybenzone that other people have complained about (it is 6% of the ingredients). I understand that most people won't have this strong allergic reaction, but be careful and try it on a small area of skin first. I wonder how much testing Neutrogena did on this product before releasing it to market.

When I first put it on, I loved it. No sunscreen odor, no greasy feel, rubbed right in. I thought I finally found the perfect sunscreen. An hour later somebody told me I looked red all over and asked if I felt OK. Next day (even after a shower), my arms had tiny bumps all over them, and started to flake extremely. Have tried it several more times, several days apart, and each time I got massive flaking and peeling, like other reviewers experienced. Maybe I'm allergic to it, because my husband uses it and has no problems with it. Also, the SPF 55 product did not prevent me from burning on a very sunny day. Usually any brand with SPF 25 or more will totally prevent burning on my fair skin, but I got a bright red burn with the Neutrogena Dry Touch 55, and I did not go in the water or get sweaty, so I know it did not wash off. I really wanted to like this product, but won't apply it again.

As I have gotten older, sunscreen (and its ingredients) has gained a lot more significance in my life. I make a much greater effort to at least apply sunscreen to my face, and this sunscreen provides great protection without irritating my sensitive skin.

I've been using this product for a month now, and love the non-greasy finish. very easy applying and does not irritate much. I said "much" cause it makes my face burn a little when i use it after swimming with a wet face. So, dry out before using it. And never use it around the eye corners, burns after about an hour till you wash it with a cleanser.

While the product felt good to apply and didn't cause any damage to the skin on my body, I had either a very bad allergic reaction or what felt like a chemical burn after applying it to my face. It lasted for about 24 hours during which my skin first turned deep red, was itching, then developed a burning sensation, and skin started peeling and was very dry the next day after the discoloration slowly went away. Used the product three times because at first I thought it was a sunburn but that is not the case.

I bought this product about a month ago, and at the first application, I absolutely loved it. It wasn't greasy but it left me glowing in the best way, so what not to love right? I was wrong. After a few days of use, I got a really bad peeling chemical burn on my forehead and the bridge of my nose. It took two weeks to heal and it would have been an amazing product had it not ended up damaging my skin instead of protecting it. I'm so disappointed that it didn't work out because I loved the look and the texture before the damage (I used SPF 55 by the way).

It created a white cast on my skin. It also smeared my clothing and caused the breakout.
