I have been applying the Ultra Sheer Dry Touch SPF 55 on my face for the last few days and can say I really like it. I have very very sensitive skin that gets puffy and red with even little sun exposure. For many years I used a Cetaphil Face lotion with SPF 15 and in the last few months switched to the Neutrogena face lotion with SPF 35 and decided to pick this up for my body. Ran out of my SPF 35 and picked this up and been using it and feel as if this product has shrunk my pours and helps with puffiness and redness on my face and ears when applied liberally. For me to it does seem to “whiten/lighten” skin but I actually find this favorable. It also gives me a glow and leaves skin looking smooth and cared for even when I rinse it off with a cleanser. I think this is a great product and sorry that many people experienced as I did not!

I do not have sensative face skin at all. I used this once before and then used it again, and remembered a year later having different tube because my husband loves it. I broke out so bad, both times, mostly around my nose, lips, chin and some on the cheeks. It's not a normal breakout, it's tiny water pop easy zits that creates a scab. It takes at least a week or so to clear. I am NOT acne prone ever until using this. Thanks for listening. There must be an ingredient that doesn't like my face.

I bought this for a trip to Mexico, as I have very sensitive skin and was looking for the purest product. I applied this all over my body and face, and ended up with small tiny red bumps all over, like tiny hives. I was so itchy all week and only by the end of the trip did I realize it was this product. The rash dried out and flaked off two weeks later which was totally gross. I will need to find a new natural sun lotion.... DEFINITELY allergic to this product.

I was so happy with this. I wore it everyday while working outside all day in the Virginia summer, and it did its job. I also swear it helped to improve my skin! Tried the visibly clear sunscreen after, and this ultra sheer was much better for me. Ironically the other gave me breakouts XD would totally recommend this!

I am from India, Used this while traveling to Goa. Had applied this at regular interval but the sunblock dint work and I got severe sun burns on my face and the skin started to peel. I am consulting a derma here and treating the sun burns. It worked well in Bangalore weather

I got a sample of this at the dermatologist and I've been using it ever since! It's so lightweight and considering the fact that I spend almost in the sun it's great. I have never once gotten sunburnt using this sunscreen and it's great for sensitive skin!

I used to love it, but then I developed a sulfa allergy. This year I could not figure out my acquaintances strange behavior in trying to get me to take benadryl. Then a lady at the grocery store stared at me. When I went back out to my car and looked in the mirror, I figured out why. I had red splotches on my neck and face. I went and read the ingredient list, and no where is there any warning or indication that the product contains sulfa. It makes me hesitant to use any of there products that are "dermatologist recommended."

I live in AZ which is very hot and sunny, so using a sunscreen is a must. I tried this sunscreen on my face to see if it would break me out, but it didn't. I have light-medium toned skin and my face gets very red when I am exposed to the sun, but when I use this my skin does not get red at all! I also have very oily skin and this doesn't make me get all shiny. Overall it is a great product.

I have been using Neutrogena sunscreen products for almost 10 years and I can tell you you can't go wrong with any of them! I have been using this dry touch one the last month on my face and it does everything it advertises- goes on smooth, absorbs in quickly, and is totally dry to the touch. I use this under makeup and it works well. I've never had any reactions or breakouts with this, and I have sensitive skin where other brands do cause a reaction for me. I won't use anything else!

I'm not sure what is meant by "sheer", but i guess "dry touch" means this stuff leaves a white, chalky powder on your skin. i can't stand it. i gave it two stars because itdoes prevent sunburn. i have been looking for an everyday sunscreen that it is not noticeable and doesn't smell like the beach that a man like me can wear to work. i have tried many prducts with no luck.
