[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally took the plunge to upgrade to a 4K TV after getting an Xbox Series X. I previously had a 1080p HD Samsung TV and was pleasantly surprised to learn Samsung is the official partner for Xbox Series S/X Systems. It would be nice if this was better advertised. The TV is great! I love the ARC and game specific compatibility. While I have the XSX on the game input (HDMI 4), I also have a Switch on HDMI 1 and the TV recognizes it as a game system. The sound features to recognize room ambience and adjust isn't available yet, hopefully that will come in a future update. Same with the OTS feature, it doesn't appear to work right now. I also wish there was a way to save TV settings per input including separate settings for the smart TV apps when no input is running. I got the Q80A because it has full screen backlighting instead of a single layer at the bottom, but the backlighting still appears uneven and washed out around the edges, especially the bottom edge.

To optimize your picture quality, please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1560.5 which includes picture quality updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update. Paring this TV with one of our Q-Series Soundbars will give you the added feature of Q-Symphony where sound from your soundbar and your TV's speakers are synchronized to play at the same time providing a deep surround experience. Intelligent Mode also enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Home > Settings > General > Intelligent Mode Settings. If the Intelligent Mode settings are greyed out in your TV's menu, please keep in mind the following: - These functions may not be supported by some modes or apps (e.g., Ambient Mode, Art Mode, and Game Mode). - Active Voice Amplifier (AVA), Adaptive Sound+, and Adaptive Volume are available only when the sound output is set to TV Speaker, or the Samsung Soundbar interlinked with Adaptive Picture function is connected. - Adaptive Volume function may not be supported by some apps or external devices. - Adaptive Volume operation affects Auto Volume function, but it does not work the other way around. Samsung Q8

Best TV ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had some previous Samsung TVs before but the QLED Q80A 4K smart tv is one of the top line and best tv you will not have any regret spending big money on. I personally loved the idea that I can watch two different things(sports) at the same time.

Incredibly crystal clear pixel eye candy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my exquisite futuristic time machine for the eyes for everything but work. But that's only because..... I mean.... honestly how could anything feel like work once you power up this television. It's almost like a 3d experience when watching in 2d. Not to mention the dummy proof experience while experiencing all the features this machine has to offer. I call it streaming eye candy meant for a future which already present. Playing my play station is a whole new experience for me. The intelligence that has been put in to this 60 inch....well flat box is quite incredible if you really think about it. You would think it should be bigger to think someone actually managed to stuff all that genius into such a thin machine is remarkable. Samsung keep it up. If that's a possibility I'm sure you will continue to lead us into the future.

i loved this tv, until ads started appearing right in the middle of the menu bar between items i scroll through frequently. there is nothing more irritating than dropping money on something only for it to try and sell you more. it's greedy, it's gross, and it's going to make me switch brands next time i need a tv.
Sometimes can be buggy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the tv for about a week now and from time to time it won't detect my sounds system of my PC and refuse to connect even though they are on and plugged in to the tv. When it does work picture quality is good.

When you are connecting your devices that supply 4K content to your TV, like an Xbox One X, Xbox One S, Playstation 4 Pro, UHD Blu-ray player, PC, Roku player, or anything else there is one very important step you need to do on your Samsung TV. You need to enable UHD HDMI Color (Input Signal Plus). Navigate to Settings > General > External Device Manager. Select UHD HDMI Color (Input Signal Plus). Connect an HDMI cable (with an adapter, if necessary) into your computer, and connect the other end into the desired HDMI IN port on the TV. Make sure the cable is properly attached. Then, use the remote to navigate to Home, and then select Source. From there, select the PC as the video source. If the TV has difficulties connecting to your PC due to surrounding radio interference, change the frequency of the wireless access band, and then try to connect. I hope this helps. Very good tv for the average person
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The screen quality/image quality seems good(I am not that well-versed in stuff like quality of screens but for the average person this is great). Now the ui/menu is a bit annoying since it requires a bit too much navigating and maybe could have been simpified a bit since some things take too many steps to actually do with the menu. Now the whole bluetooth thing works fine not a person who thinks that's an amazing feature for me but hey at least it's there
This product has some great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv works great for streaming all your 4k content. Not very good for browsing online but that recalling wasn't the focus. You tube Netflix, Disney all work amazing with it. Could def use a sound bar.

Great experience

The picture quality is awesome and sound, even without any soundbar, is great. I like t idea of smart things because now I can easily project my phone on screen.
