I'm familiar with the brand so it was a no brainer.

I have had good luck with Duracell batteries.

Great batteries, maybe even as good as the old Kirkland batteries but the caps are glued on, which makes it impossible to add distilled water to the cells when they need them. "Maintenance free" really means that you'll be throwing the battery away after about half of its useful life because of this. Most of the better batteries have caps that you can pry off if necessary, usually only the cheaper ones are glued like this. Disappointing, but a great performer otherwise.

This is a great Group 78 battery at a decent price. With Scan & Go you can be in and out of the store in less time than it takes to walk to the battery racks in most stores.

Needed a car battery for my Cadillac SRX in a rush. Could not find. The GM recommended battery was not available and at least $100 more. The cold cranking amps are the same as the recommended battery. The only difference is that this battery is approximately 1/2" shorter, (it still fits in the battery tray).

After shopping online for batterys I went to the store and purchased the Duracell 78 because of the pictured warranty on the top of the Battery. I found no marking of the 8 year proration on the battery after it was installed , looks like 3 year replacement only ! They need to update their website picture or supply the battery warranty pictured with the 8 year prorated warranty

Bought 1 and it lasted less than 1 year. I replaced it through Sam's and the second one is now bad in less than another year. Hoping they'll stand behind the 3 year warranty. My car has had the alternator checked and there are no shorts in the system causing any drain on the battery. The car is parked outside but not in too harsh of conditions, so I would've expected it to last longer.

Needed a new battery called and was told I should be able to get it replaced in about an hour, after being in the store for an hour and half I was told should have it done in about another hour I didn’t wait took it home and did it myself. I don’t understand how they expect you to make an appointment for something that you don’t know when you are going to need a new battery.
