[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This deodorant does what it claims to do. It provides great protection even on the hottest days and throughout an intense workout. I was relieved to find that even though I was still so sweaty after a recent workout in hotter than average temperatures I did not smell like a sweaty gym. Plus, I still felt like my deodorant was there and doing its job. There is only one downside to this type of deodorant, and it is the same complaint that made me switch back to a regular bar years ago; gel deodorant plus freshly shaved armpits equals sting! It was an old familiar sting, but it did not last long and was totally worth it for the protection it provided. My only one other complaint now is. ....my sample ran out! Time to go get more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so I live in Florida and it is HOT. Let's face it, we all sweat and get stinky armpits. Secret Outlast clear gel deodorant is pretty much amazing! Not only does it keep me smelling (and feeling) super fresh but I think the best part is NO MORE WHITE MARKS! No matter how careful I was with my old deodorant I always managed to get those pesky white marks on my shirts! I won't be buying any more solid white deodorant anymore!!! 😀

Not only is it clear and leaves no marks on my clothing but it leaves me feeling dry and protected all day. This is the perfect summer deoderant!!! During tank top and bathing suit weather it keeps me looking great and smelling even better!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Secret Outlast Invisible Solid for years and it's held up to the hormone roller coaster of three pregnancies. I figured if a deodorant could keep me fresh through motherhood, there was no reason to change. Then I received the clear gel for free. I was surprised by how cool and refreshing this deodorant was. The smell is heavenly and I love the cool gel on my skin! I love it so much that when I needed to buy more, I skipped the solid and went straight for the gel. I've noticed less residue on my clothing and less build up on my undergarments. The only reason I'm giving this product 4 instead of 5 stars is because I don't feel like it lasts the promised 48 hours. It'll give 24 hours of protection easily, but there's no way I could skip an application each morning! That small bit aside, this is a fantastic deodorant!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say that even though the product works ok it isn't something that I think I would purchase. I didn't notice a large difference in the degree of protection from my normal deodorant. What I did notice is the painful stinging sensation when applying the product which is enough of a factor to keep me from using it. I don't know about most people but I shave every morning and this was not a routine that worked for me. Also the clicking to apply, do you do 1 click 2 clicks. It didn't seem like the product would last very long. I feel a little guilty giving a negative review to a product I've tested but I have to be honest. I did not like it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Secret brand before and have also used Secret clear gel products, but this was the first time I had used the Xtend Clear Gel. I wasn't sure at first what I would have to say that would be different from the other secret products, but now that I have been using it for several weeks, I would say that I haven't noticed a huge difference between this Secret clear gel and other Secret products that I have used, but that is a good thing because I have been extremely satisfied with other Secret products and this one does not disappoint either. When I first started using the Secret Outlast Xtend clear gel, I paid very close attention because I wanted to see if I noticed any differences between it and my older Secret clear gel I had just finished. The only difference I noticed between the two was that I had the impression that this one had a slight vanilla note compared to the scent of the other. I like the scent of this antiperspirant because I can only really smell it when I am putting it on. I don't smell it later on when I am wearing it. I occasionally enjoy wearing perfume, and though it is rare for me to wear it, I hate it when my deodorant competes with the perfume scent. Pleasantly, this one does not interfere. As for the 48-hour protection, I generally apply deodorant every day, so it was hard for me to "test" this feature. I'm a teacher and I don't want to take the risk of smelling in front of my students. However, a couple of times on the weekend I did go ahead and not put it on that second day just to see if the odor protection would last and it seemed like it did. Even when I worked out it seemed that my underarms stayed fresh (how do I say this delicately...I worked out hard enough that other areas might have smelled a bit sweaty--back, chest, etc. Sorry to shatter the illusion that girls don't sweat, but I only share this detail because this deodorant did work, even after a strenuous workout.) The packaging is nice and smooth. At first I found it to be too wide compared to some others (narrower deodorant sticks are more convenient to store in a medicine cabinet), but I think that the nice thing is that the wider surface might make it easier to apply the gel evenly. The one thing that sometimes deters me from purchasing a gel deodorant is that a long time ago I had a gel deodorant that, when I went on a trip and jostled it it my suitcase/overnight bag, would leak out a lot of gel into the cap area and then I would get way too much. I didn't do a lot of traveling with this one yet, but on a quick weekend trip with this one I didn't experience this problem. It seems to stay put until you turn it to dispense it. Maybe the gel is a bit thicker. Overall, I am quite pleased with this product. The one thing that I would like to see from Secret in the future is for them to come out with an aluminum-free anti-perspirant. There are a lot of smaller brands out there with more natural products. If Secret were the big-brand who took the lead in providing more safe and natural products, I'm pretty sure they would be unstoppable. I would buy that. In the end, sure, 48-hour odor protection is great. But if there were a more natural option available and it was only 24-hour (or even less--but would still need to be long enough for full work day/evening), I would choose that product. I would even be willing to pay a little more for it.

I am up at 5am and have to take my kids to school before heading to work. After work I then pick them up and run any errands I may need to that day which sometimes leads me to not get home until 5pm. When I used the Secret Outlast Clear Gel deodorant it dried almost instantly and never left any white residue when putting on my work shirt afterwards. Through the day I never felt gross sweaty. I was left protected even in the busiest days. I am switching to this deodorant from now on!

I have always been skeptical about trying a gel form deodorant as I thought it was not long lasting protection. This is easy to apply runs smoothly, clear and smells so clean. I like that it does not leave any marks on my clothing. I cleanand confident through out the day.
