I love Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant. It left absolutely no white marks so I didn't have to worry about getting it on my shirts or put my shirt on a specail way so that white marks did not show. This also gave me very good protection while wearing it, even on hot days. It took a little time getting used to it feeling wet when I first put it on though but fortunately it drys quickly so it was no big deal.

My regular deodorant left small deodorant balls on my armpits. I raised my arms to reach for something and noticed someone looking at my pits. I had to go to the restroom to clean up my underarms! But with the Secret Outlast Gel - wow. I just assumed all deodorant left those little balls. The Secret does not! I went all day, reached for any and everything and wasn't embarrassed one bit! There were no white marks. My underarms didn't have any marks that I had to clean up. I was floored.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be completely honest, when I was asked to try out the Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant, I wasn't expecting great results. I've used clear deodorants in the past, and they just never seem to provide as much odor/wetness protection as their white counterparts. But since I'm always game for trying new products, I immediately starting using the product as soon as it came in the mail. And I can sum up my experience in three words: I was impressed! This is a clear deodorant that actually works for me! And that's saying a lot seeing as how my summer job right now is working at a theme park. I can actually get through a day of work without feeling like I have to reapply deodorant every time I go on break. The fact that it is clear is really more of a bonus to me, I'm more concerned that it actually works. But it's nice to know that after work I can change into my casual summer attire without worrying about white marks. All in all, this is a fantastic product that I plan to continue using!

I bought this deodorant for the first time about 3 months ago because the smell was soooo very good! I forget the scent but I remember the packaging was pink. When you use the deoderent if you put on too much gel it's wet and sometime gets on your shirt and makes a wet stain that looks like sweat and it does take some time to dry , so if you are in a rush this is not convenient. As I was wearing this I noticed that it did not help the smell , my school is very big 1/4 a mile long and it's 2 story's and I am constantly going uptown back-and-forth to get to my classes, and I notice I start to smell about mid way through the day , and I don't have the place or time to reapply deodorant and I don't think you should have to. I Love the other secret deodorant but I personally would not recommend the gel at all, unless you want to smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing that I noticed before even using it was the STRONG SMELL. Considering that my sense of smell is severely lacking, I can't imagine how strong of a smell it really is for a normal nose. The scent is a cantaloupe scent, which I am not fond of in general and deterred me from the first whiff. However, I did not detect the scent lingering on my body, but again considering my handicap, I am not able to state this for certain. I find it difficult to really test the claim of 48 hour protection since I do not sweat very profusely and warm weather is not upon us. While I wasn't willing to wear it for 48 hours, I felt that it worked relatively comparable as other deodorants I've used. This might be my inexperience with using gel deodorant but I found the application process not as easy/more time-consuming than with a solid. I also think as a gel, it will be used up more quickly than a solid (which is not economic for me and why I prefer solid). My method of application for one underarm involved clicking once to dispense product, applying it to half of the underarm, click once again and then apply the product to the other half, repeating it for the other underarm. Even with the minimum product application approach, I did have to hold my arms up for it to dry for 15 seconds to make sure everything is sufficiently dry and not incredibly tacky. Overall, my feelings about the deodorant was neutral. It does have aluminum in it for people who are concerned about that aspect in their deodorant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very simple criteria that I take into account when buying deodorant: It needs to take less than 5 seconds to apply, it needs to keep me dry & smelling clean, and it should not irritate my skin. Unfortunately, the Secret Outlast Clear Gel failed on all of these. Upon first glances, the packaging is pretty. For a week, I used this every morning and again after working out/showering. I apply 1 "click" of product to each under arm. I then have to fan each armpit for about 20 seconds each to get the gel to dry. This is 35 seconds longer than I would like to worry about deodorant application. Of course that is silly, but if the deodorant actually worked, I think I would have happily continued fanning away. Throughout my day, I constantly noticed a lot of smells. I do not sweat much, so the peculiar mix of deodorant and sweat was distracting. I was self conscious wearing this. Without worrying about smelling of body odor, the scent of the deodorant was stronger than I prefer. To add insult to injury, at the end of the week the product started irritating my armpits. They were itchy. I was unhappy. I decided to keep this Secret to myself at that point.

I also cannot use solids as they can get dark clothes. This product #1 works. As a matter of fact, I had someone asked my why I smell so good. I don't even need to wear perfume. The smell is so extoxicating!! Even my husband was like "Dang, you smell awesome. I love this so much after the first 2 days , I had to tell everyone at work. No I am not using perfume, its my Secret outlast. I feel clean and fresh all day long. And one thing you need to know, is that you only need a tiny bit, cause it goes a long way, which makes it a great value. I would recommend this product to EVERYONE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me be clear, I usually love Secret deodorant. They are one of my top two go-to brands when it comes to deodorants, in fact. However, I am not impressed with the new Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant. I have been using Secret Outlast Clear Gel regularly for a little over a week now and I have yet to get to the end of a day where I haven't started to smell bad under the arms. At first I thought maybe I wasn't using enough product so I increase the amount. That didn't work. Then I thought maybe I wasn't allowing it time enough to dry before I put on clothes so I started walking around air drying my armpits before getting dressed. That didn't work. This is all in addition to the fact that I don't care for how it feels under my arms as it goes on. I have come to the conclusion (unfortunately) that this is not the product for me. While I like the fact that the product does go on clear and never leaves white marks, I need more odor protection than this product offers. (Maybe it's because I'm testing the product in the middle of an Arizona summer or maybe it's because I chase my 3-year old all day, who knows). Needless to say I won't be switching to this product but I still love the Secret brand and will not shy away from trying other products of theirs in the future as well as continuing to purchase my established faves.

I always find myself buying and trying new deodorants only to hate the white marks, the smell of the deodorant itself or find that it doesn't work. This deodorant has a fantastic scent that last for hours and you have none of those pesky white marks. I did not hesitate to go shopping and buy this product after trying the sample. I absolutely love it!
