[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was finally able to try this deodorant and unfortunately, I've discovered that I'm not really a fan of gel deodorant. Nothing against Secret, they have amazing products, it's just this one wasn't for me. It does offer great wetness protection, after the gel itself dries, which takes a bit of time. I'm the type of person who likes to put on deodorant then immediately put on my shirt and with this Secret Outlast Clear Gel, I just couldn't do that. The first time it rubbed off onto my tank. It was a minor inconvenience. However, on the plus side, Outlast Clear Gel, does in fact have close to 48 hour protection! I used the deodorant this weekend when I knew that I could really test it out. Playing 7 or 8 games of volleyball in 90 degree weather definitely put Secret to the test! I was very much impressed. After playing 8 vigorous games of volleyball, I was very confident that I could continue to lift my arms up and not offend anyone, and yeah, even after I came home and enjoyed a hot soak I could still catch faint whiffs of the soft Secret Outlast scent!

I just love it! I have two kids. A 7 year old and a 1 year old so I am on the move constantly. And with constant moving comes sweat! There is a lack of wetness with the use of the deo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have found my body reacts better with gel based deodorants then solid deodorants. There have been a fair few that work fine with my skin and do not transfer to clothing. However, Gels just are better overall. This was nice for me to try out because I haven't used a gel deodorant since my favorite one was last discontinued about a year ago. This one, is very nice and absorbs very quickly as well as has a light clean scent to it. It can be cold to your body when you first put it on so be ready for that! So, far it's worked great for me I haven't had any issues or notice myself smelling off when using this. I haven't tested the 48-hour claim just because I wouldn't feel clean doing that. I always reapply every day.

I have self diagnosed hyperhidrosis and the only deodorant that had half decent wetness protection was Secret Outlast (the white kind that clicks up through the holes on top, not the solid). I had tried several clear deodorants but they did nothing for wetness. I then found a miracle in CertainDri It is used at night and I now only need to use it once a month and I never, ever have any wetness or sweat from my armpits. I still would regularly use the white Secret Outlast as my daily deodorant still hesitant to try clear because it feels wet and I didn't trust it for odor protection. I am pleasantly surprised! I still don't like the wet feel when you put it on but it did great for odor protection. I would put it on in the morning and then the next morning 24 hours later after a workout. I still could not detect body odor. I can speak to its wetness protection because of the miracle of CertainDri. The smell is not my favorite and my husband said it smelled like "dollar store deodorant" (whatever that is). I didn't think it was that bad but it wasn't my favorite. The smell/fragrance wears off quickly so that part didn't really bother me. It still maintained odor protection when the fragrance wore off. The best part is, of course, that it's clear!!! I didn't have to get wet washcloths to wipe deodorant off my black tank tops just to notice it reappear later in the day. I totally has the clear factor as an underrated quality in my mind but that has changed and once I go through my sample size, I'm pretty commited to buying my very own... Hoping there are different fragrance options:) overall, I was unexpectedly satisfied.

I am a super busy 24 year old, between work, school, family, and my social life I am always on the go. There are days I don't to go home and shower or freshen up before running off to my next activity. I have noticed that this deodorant has helped reduce the need to do this since it continued to keep me smelling fresh and clean throughout my day. I am very pleased with this deodorant and definitely plan to buy it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Secret Outlast Sweat & Odor Completely Clean does its job. On the label it claims 48 hour protection, and that is the truth! If you are an active person who can really work up a sweat, then this will work for you. Here in east TN, it gets hot and humid. I got to test this deodorant in those exact conditions. The first day I tried it, I showered, applied the product, went for a walk, and then on to bed later. The next day was the day we go to the stables to volunteer. I didn't have time to shower so I just did a quick "swipe" with the Secret Outlast and hit the road. After four hours in the heat and humidity, I was dry and smelled fresh, still. What I like: This product does what it claims to. There is no doubt that it will keep you smelling fresh and you will stay dry. I have used different brands over the years and most have failed either by not keeping me dry or by not keeping away the funk! What I don't like: The scent is not something I would choose for a product that I am going to have on all day. It is almost fruity and flowery at the same time. It is a feminine scent, but a little too much for me. I don't think most women will mind, and might even find it pleasant. Would I buy it again? Yes. Would I use it ALL the time, no. I would use it in high stress or higher heat and activity situations, but because of the presence of aluminum and other chemicals I can't say honestly that I would use it every day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of receiving my sample of Secret Outlast® Clear Gel Deodorant was that I was disappointed in the sample size (0.5 oz). I received the tiny travel size, which only had enough of the clear gel in it to apply it two or three times. With a sample so small, it has been really tough for me to give it a fair trial. That said, I received the "completely clean" scent - which actually was quite pleasant. When I took the deodorant out of the bubble wrap envelope I received it in, I actually couldn't see any of the gel (keep in mind, it's clear) - but even though it came in a clear container, the sample was so small that I couldn't even see it above the applicator. The tip of the deodorant had a foil type seal wrapper that I had to peel back to expose the holes for the gel to come through. It was really easy to remove. I had to twist the base of the deodorant 5 or 6 times before I even saw the start of the gel coming through the holes - but that seemed normal because it would have been compacted during transit. Once the gel came through the top of the holes, it took another 3 - 4 clicks before it had enough to apply to my underarm - so a total of 6 - 8 clicks per application? The gel went on smoothly and was actually quite cool - the texture was a lot like aloe vera to me. It dried similarly as well. I ran my finger over my under arm after it seemed to dry and it still felt a little clammy to me. I suppose it eventually dried completely. I don't believe I ever felt dry while wearing it though, which was a little uncomfortable since it is labeled as an antiperspirant/deodorant. Even though my underarms still felt moist - the smell really was nice and fresh. I also want to say that it did not leave ANY residue or marks on the inside of my shirt - that claim is 100% accurate for this product. I really liked that aspect of this product. Overall, I rated it only 2 stars because I didn't feel it met all of the claims it advertised. I don't personally feel that this product would be able to keep me dry for 48 hours - I never did feel dry while wearing it. It did smell really nice and did stay true to the claim that it would leave no marks. I haven't given up on Secret Outlast® Clear Gel Deodorant though - I trust the Secret brand and have had wonderful experiences with it. I'd like to get a full sized product in order to give it a fair trial. Maybe with repeated use, I could get used to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First let me start out by saying I'm a solid deodorant type of woman. I've tried the gels a few times but have never really liked them. The good thing about this deodorant is that you can easily see how much you are going to apply which is a plus. I also think the scent lasts a very long time which is another plus but I personally didn't like the scent. Overall this is a decent deodorant and everything is worth a try plus there's more than one scent.
