[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant for a few months now. I'd seen it in stores and it piqued my interest. When I got my sample in the mail, I was even more compelled to give the deodorant a try. After all, if I liked it, I could go buy it! I put the deodorant to the test for the first time during our local Street Festival. It's an annual, two day event that seems to take place during the hottest weekend of the year on, you guessed it, asphalt. I help out with a few different jobs during the festival and I'll make the switch halfway through the day to tanks. In the mornings, when I'm working at the first job, I'm wearing a t-shirt. T-shirts are the last thing that you want to wear in the sweltering, humid summers, right? With Secret's Clear Gel Deodorant, I found that I didn't have to worry about it! Usually, by the time I get home halfway through the day, I'm worrying about rushing through another application of deodorant before I head back out. My armpits reek and why would I go stand around other people with smelly armpits? This year, after using the Outlast Deodorant, my armpits were significantly less smelly and I didn't have to apply a second layer. Already, I'm enjoying it! Move on to the second part of the day, where tank tops come into play. Gel deodorants are usually the worst for two reasons: they don't last long, and even when you're using a clear gel deodorant, you get deodorant pills. Yuck! So we're sitting in the hot sun sweating ourselves off and having to think about deodorant is the last thing that's on my mind. I took a quick peak at my armpit at some point and realized not only was I deodorant pill free, but my armpits still smelled fantastic! Needless to say, the deodorant passed on its first test, and on the most disgusting of days. I now have two large bottles of the Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant: one for home, and one for the office drawer if I happen to forget to apply at home. I'm extremely pleased with the deodorant and will continue to use it from here on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just had the most humid, stickiest days of summer...you know how that goes when you have a hundred things that day and the weather is just good for sitting inside with the AC. That's not reality, we all need to get out and get stuff done. I wore Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant all day and I did not smell bad, sweat or have white marks on my black clothing! This deodorant is great for the days you need something extra, that your natural deodorant won't do. I have loved wearing Secret deodorants in the past but I have concerns with the ingredients, so I have switched over too a natural deodorant.

I usually just buy whatever deodorant is on sale but I keep coming back to the Secret gel. I was very happy to join the review as I prefer gel deodorants and keep coming back to Secret . I think this test might have finally turned me into a totally secret girl :)

It certainly reminded me of why I don't generally purchase gel deodorant!!!! Right away I noticed a very alcohol reminiscent scent. I tried it both first thing in the morning and first thing out of the shower after shaving. First thing in the morning wasn't so bad, but it dries to a " crusty" layer. I will say that it kept sweat at bay even when working outside later in the day in 97+ degree weather with high humidity. I showered, shaved, and put it on again. Mistake. Instant burn, and then that uncomfortable dry feeling. I love Secret deodorant, and will always, but I think I will steer clear of this particular one!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say I love this deodorant. I am not a huge fan of gel deodorants, but Secret has changed my mind. After applying secret outlast for the first time i loved it. It dried fast and did not leave that sticky feeling that I hate so much. To me the smell is very important and I absolutely loved the scent of this deodorant. It has everything that a great deodorant should, quick to dry, keeps you fresh and dry all day long even in hot temperatures (104 degrees) and the scent is amazing. I definitely recommend this product. I know you would love it as much as i do.

I felt very comfortable while wearing it. I felt like it lasted a long time. I also loved that there were no white marks coming off on my clothes from the deodorant. I would recommend this to any one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to use my deodorant as I was working at my summer job as an archery instructor for two different scout camps --one for Cub Scout day camp and one a High Adventure camp. Needless to say, they made for some long, hardworking, and hot days! However, I did not feel that I had to worry while using the Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant because I could tell it was keeping me dry, so I knew I wouldn't have to worry about how I smelled. When I first started using the deodorant, the gel came up a lot more evenly than it has in other gel deodorants I used. It did get a little uneven towards the end, but it wasn't that major and could possibly been caused by the way I was storing the deodorant. I also liked the smell. It was pleasant, but not that strong or unnatural. One thing that I did not like was that it did not last very long compared to the deodorant I usually use. I think that may have been because the container itself was smaller so it couldn't possibly hold that much. I did feel as if one click wasn't enough to spread it out over the area I wanted to apply it, so I probably used way more than was intended as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say I really do enjoy using the Secret Outlast Xtend Clear Gel. I can actually smell the strong floral sent after I put it on. It makes me feel fresher being able to smell it so much! It lasts all day and when they say 48-hour protection they really mean it. After spending the holidays running around & playing with the kids, visiting with family for non-stop my deodorant still hadn't worn off! This was amazing! I truly recommend to anyone who hasn't tried this yet to do it! What are you waiting for!? It works wonders. It smells amazing & it lasts much longer than most deodorants - It TRULY works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied for the first time at night, and the second time the next morning. First, I felt like it never actually dried. It felt wet and slimy. Second, any time I would get warm or sweat during the day, the same feeling returned again. I don't feel like I was sweating any less or smelling any better with this deodorant. I will keep trying and see if perhaps it was just my initial reaction to it.
