The gel just not for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I reserved a sample of Secret Outlast® Xtend clear gel, at first I really loved it, but now after using for a week or so , I am starting to not care for the gel. I still love Secret Outlast® Xtend and will continue to use secret products.

Outlast outperforms

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically find this product to be more suitable for women just because it doesn't have a manly fragrance. I liked the fresh scent. I have given this product the ultimate test. The temperature was 90 degrees and this deodorant kept me smelling fresh. I honestly don't think any anti-prespirant will keep anyone completely dry in very hot temperatures with high humidity. But this one did a good job. The invisible solid did not get on my clothing. What is unique about this product is that it gives 48 hour protection.

nothing special, I prefer my solid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Secret Outlast Deodorant since it came out, and Secret brand since I was a teenager. I've always stuck to the solid in a powder scent, but I figured I'd give the clear gel a dry. First off: don't use it right after shaving. It stings!! Probably a drying agent or something in the gel, though the sting does wear off after a few seconds. I couldn't tell any difference between this and the solid I use. I don't have a problem with getting marks on my clothing with it, so I don't see a need to switch to the clear gel. Effectiveness: it's great as a deodorant, but it's not the best anti-antiperspirant. I'm great for about 8 hours, and then I'll sweat through my shirt. I have the same issue with their solid, so it may be that the formula isn't quite strong enough for me.

I'm loving the continuous protection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think Secret outlast clear gel is my savior this summer! Living in Fl it gets extremely hot and I like to stay active so working out in the heat makes for a very sweaty day! Secret outlast clear gel is the first deodorant that I can count on to leave me fresh after a workout! Can't beat it :) I'm impressed

Invisible solid fan taking the clear gel on a spin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am honestly in love with the invisible solid with olay. I love how my sensitive underarms feel so soft and the scent is so long lasting. So I thought it was time to give the clear gel a try. Well tbh the scent grossed me out and did not last for more than half the day. As well my underarms did not have the long lasting smooth feeling. Total disappointmenr unless you are wearing a shirt that may leave marks from your underarms. I still love you secret!

Surprisingly impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well me and my best friend both have kinda bad BO problems sorry but true.. So when I first tried this product I was excited and skeptical. But after I showered put on the secret outlast and went about my daily business I was surprised that it lasted the whole day. Also it was surprising to me but it still had the same sent I didn't smell any of my body odor which is the case with other deodorants I have tried in the past. Another surprising factor was the fact that it goes on and stays clear that day I was wearing a black messaged her and we all know the black is a non-forgiving color when it comes to deodorant. So that night I took a shower and the next day I still had nice fragrance of the secret outlast deodorant. So I definitely will be purchasing this deodorant in the very near future.

Clearest Gel Deodorant I've Used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I give Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant four stars because it does exactly what it says. However, I don't feel that this gel deodorant is remarkably better than other gel deodorants. Personally, I don't enjoy the feeling of gel but it does get the job done! It does take a while to dry though, but I suppose I can handle that since it leaves me odorless all day long! The smell of the actual deodorant could be a little less strong though. I prefer non-scented.

Dependable Outlast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think secret brand is a great brand and have used in the past...but I've always used the solid. I prefer the solid but I think its what you like and accustom to. I don't like the wet feeling when you first put on. However my teenage daughter absolutely loves it, she says no white streaks of white residue.

Feeling sticky and sweaty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Secret for the first and last time this weekend. I thought it'd be a good thing because we were camping and between the hot sun and bonfires I knew I was gonna be a hot mess. Halfway thru the day I was fishing my old deodorant out of my bag because I felt sticky. I didn't have to reapply that the rest of the day and will be sticking with my usual

This gel is a clear winner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a fan of clear gel anti-perspirants for decades now. I'm talking about back when Arrid was only X-tra dry. I loved how they really covered the skin - it made me feel safer, like all of my stink-releasing pores were being silenced. So, when Secret released their first clear gel, I was all over it - or, rather, it was all over my underarms! Although, I wasn't impressed by the gel's staying power. Halfway through the day, I'd feel a bead of sweat break through. The scents were good, but they were no match for gym class! I've been paying attention to Secret's advances ever since, which is why I jumped at the chance to try Secret Outlast Xtend. I had already been using Secret Outlast, which boasts 48 hours of protection, but I was curious to see how they could improve upon near perfection. I'm a scientist, so I like to put product claims to the test. If you promise to provide 48 hour protection, I'm going to set up scent checks at evenly-spaced intervals to make sure that you're not slacking. I did the same with Secret Outlast, which - I'm pleased to report - was successfully odor-blocking for at least 40 hours. (Don't judge, I HAD to take a shower... what am I? A camel with questionable self esteem?) I recently set up a similar test for Secret Outlast Xtend, and I'd like to share them with you. The experiment got off to something of a false start. What I didn't realize was that, in order to get a clean slate (after months of using Secret Outlast) you really need to scrub, scrub, scrub your underarms. During my first trial of Xtend, I started to feel "breakthrough wetness" after about 2 hours. I'm pretty sure it's due to the fact that I hadn't removed the top three layers of skin from my underarms before I applied the Xtend. Cut to application #2: I scrubbed until it hurt, I dried my underarms thoroughly, and then I applied a silky layer of Xtend. I started the clock. At 10 hours, I got home from work with dry underarms. I got ready for bed, with dry underarms. I woke up (it was a weekend, so I didn't feel like a complete slob), with dry underarms. At 24 hours, dry. At 36 hours, dry. I made it all the way to 53 hours with dry underarms - until I had to halt the experiment for work-related shower reasons. This stuff does what it promises. Based on my rather crude experiments, it does it better than Secret Outlast. Granted, it's an N of 1, but I'm pretty impressed. Now, if only Secret could make Outlast Xtend available in CocoKiss scent (which is one of their summer scents) or the "pink" scent from the 1990s Smells Like Teen Spirit by Mennen. Oh, that's right, I would like a different scent, because I don't LOVE the scent. It's perfectly fine, but it's not something that I look forward to smelling, which is why I'd recommend a different group of scents. But, if your priority is staying dry, there's no better choice!
