I've been using Secret Outlast Clear Gel for years, so I can only compare Xtend Outlast to regular Outlast Clear Gel. Both claim to give 48-hr protection, but with regular Outlast the odor is already noticeable by mid-day. I usually buy the unscented ones, so that might be the reason. Xtend Outlast does last longer, at least 24-36 hours; but, I received my sample from Bzzagent in "completely clean", so the added scent might influence the odor-free duration. The scent, although pleasant, is strong, and definitely cant be worn with any other perfume, so I would go with unscented Xtend in the future. But in that case I’m not sure how long it’ll last odor protection-wise. As an antiperspirant, Xtend Outlast is not going to keep you dry. The gel itself feels clammy and it also leaves white marks on clothes (though it doesn’t claim not to). Overall, Xtend Outlast is full of flaws and imperfections, but a definite improvement over regular Outlast Clear gel.

On top of leaving residue on my clothes. I was very impressed that secret did not. Not only was it dry but it kept me dry as well. It lasted well past 24 hours! I find myself drawn to the men's deodorant for those times when I know I will really being sweating hard or working out but I don't always like to smell like a man. So I have another deodorant that I use at work that smells nice but 1 application doesn't cut it for the evening walk with the kids. I was skeptical about the gel at first because it went on so light I actually took it in my purse thinking I'd need to reapply. I DID NOT!! I was surprised that it felt like I had nothing on at all but worked so well. We went to camp that evening and I actually tested the time limit. Now it was about 80 and 90%humidity and i didn't shower for a solid 36 hours and it was still going strong. Pleasantly surprised I smelled good. I will be switching to this daily and I'm looking forward to trying a new scent.

It goes on smooth, no scratches from dry powders. No white residue staining your clothes. It dries within seconds of putting it on. no wet spots show up. It feels like silk going on. I will definitely be buying more.

When I laid down for a little I noticed that I kept smelling this great scent and realized it was the deodorant. Then for a few days I worked out and went to work to see how it worked throughout different activities and was amazed to see how much protection I had. I'm very particular about my deodorants because my hormones have changed since I had my son so I've had to buy clinical protection deodorant. Needless to say, this deodorant is a choice I will be sticking with. The great smell is very noticeable because ppl asked me what scent I had on. I think the scent was nice, but the application feels sticky, doesn't dry quickly, and doesn't work very well. I like other Secret Deodorants but this one didn't live up to my expectations.

Overall, I think this is a good product. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: - This gel deodorant didn't leave me with a wet, sticky feeling, which is a problem I've had with other gels in the past. - There is a nice, light scent when you apply it. - It did, in fact, last 48 hours without re-applying during a low activity weekend. - It comes from Secret, which is a brand I frequently use and like. Cons: - The nice scent doesn't seem to last all day. (But, it isn't replaced by odor, which is good.) - It didn't seem to work quite as wells on days with more vigorous activity. So, I definitely wouldn't trust it for 48 hours without re-applying if I were doing harder activities. - Some days it didn't seem to wash off very easily in the shower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant is literally the BEST deodorant I have EVER tried!!! I am so thrilled with the product. I went ALL day without having to re-apply the deodorant, and even when I woke up the NEXT day I didn't feel like I needed more deodorant!! It left no white marks on any of my black clothes, and it doesn't feel gross and sticky like many other gel deodorants. It dried within seconds, which was great because I was expecting to have to walk around with my arms out to let the deodorant dry before getting dressed. It was great, and I will definitely be buying this product again!

I love the Secret brand & was glad to find that they made the Outlast Xtend deodorant as I needed something to get me through the day as a busy mom feeling fresh & protected. I love the clear gel because it dries pretty fast, doesn't leave marks on clothes, & for me works longer than any other kind I have tried. I will highly recommend the Xtend to anyone I know!

I haven't kept this on for 48-hurs, but I have for about 18-hours and it performed wonderfully! Odor and wetness were kept at bay and there was no transfer to my clothes! As a professor, moving from classroom to classroom can cause some wet spots under the arms. The Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant has been a great companion during these warm SoCal days (and nights)!
