[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate gel deodorants, but I really want to love them! Since I began wearing deodorant, I've tried several gels so that I could avoid white marks on my clothing with the benefit of long-lasting protection. It's always the same old song & dance: cold application, wet armpits, sticky armpits, and no long-lasting protection. Unfortunately, Secret Outlast Clear Gel did not do any better than past contenders. The cold isn't Secret's fault, I just live somewhere that's cold, especially in the mornings. The blast of chill in the morning is not welcomed! It also took a while to dry once it was applied. I found myself waving around chicken arms trying to dry my armpits so that I could get dressed. At times, not always, I would experience the sticky feeling under my arms that sometimes comes along with wearing a gel deodorant. I was not happy about this because it just made me feel like I needed deodorant on! As far as 48-hour protection, not even close! By the end of a 12 hour day, I felt like I smelled and needed a shower. By the next morning, I knew I smelled and needed a shower! There is no way I found this deodorant would last that long. All that being said, it is marginally better than gel deodorants that I've tried in the past. Others left me sticky all the time and this was only sometimes. Mostly when I would work up a sweat is when I could feel the stickiness. There's really no getting around the drying aspect no matter which brand you choose, so that's an unfair comparison to make. As far as long-lasting, although I don't see 48 hours ever happening, I will give it credit for lasting longer than other gels I have tried in the past. And so it seems I'll be sticking with my solid stick deodorant and dealing with the consequences of white marks! Bummer, I was really hoping this would be the one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had quite a time finding a good deodorant that doesn't have some of those less than appealing effects and actually works like it claims. As a woman who sweats a good deal (thank you genetics :) ), I wasn't sure how Secret Outlast Xtend would stack-up. But when I received my sample, I was pleasantly surprised! I love how it dries fast - not staying "slimy" like some I have tried in the past. I also love how it leaves no marks - again, something I have had negative experiences with in the past. It states that it has 48 odor and wetness protection, but if you are like me - I would say it is more like 12-14 hours, which I still find to be wonderful! No more re-applying during the work day. Overall, I would recommend this product, and if you give it a try I don't think you'll be disappointed.

What would I want to know before I get this product? I would want to know if this product actually worked the way it was advertised, and i would say that it does! I Love this product and here's why! We have had some warm weather this past week with temperatures in the 90s and it held up so great! I never worried about needing to reapply it, it kept me fresh all day! I also work in a hot kitchen and it held up there as well. I also love the clear and fast drying aspect of the product, I didn't have to worry about it leaving those ugly white marks on my clothes when i was in a hurry to get dressed! I'm definitely going to be purchasing this product when my sample i received free from BzzAgent is gone!

I am impressed with the 48 hour odor protection and it did leave me smelling fresh and did not leave any marks on my clothes but it did leave my under arms dry and rough. It does the job with odor protection and smells amazing.

After wearing it for a few days, I found that I loved it!! It really held on throughout the whole day. There were times where I would wonder what smelt so good at work and would then realized it was me! I loved it so much that this is now my new deodorant and I have even purchased a full size bottle. I have now ditched the solid deodorant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the new Secret Outlast Xtend Clear Gel deodorant is great. It has been so nice to have a deodorant that actually works and has kept me fresh even on some of my roughest and busiest days. I recently was in the hospital and while there I used this deodorant. I felt confident knowing that even though I was feeling at my worst that I did not stink. I was able to put this deodorant on and it kept me fresh even while I was sweating out some of the my worst fever there. It has been great having this deodorant to use. I will continue to use this deodorant. After recovering from my illness I was lucky to have some warm days during the month of January which allowed me to get outside and get my yard raked. I raked my entire front yard and was not sweaty and did not stink even after all my hard work in the yard. This deodorant is great. I really do like that it goes on clear, keeps me fresh, and does not stain my clothes with any white residue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In theory it sounds like an amazing product to bad it did not deliver the promises the company makes of 48 hour wetness and odor protection.I was really hoping this product would be for me sadly it was not there was no wetness or odor protection for 48 hours and seemed to irritate my freshly shaved skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Background: I am a loyal and long-time (2 decade) invisible solid user with a strong preference to wards Degree. My solid goes on easy, no time to dry, smells nice without being super fragrant, and keeps my underarms dry and smelling fresh all day unless it gets super hot or I'm exerting myself more than usual - my job is about half on my feet and half at my desk, my home life is the same, and a rarely exercise so I am not typically in a situation where I need clinical strength protection. I recently tried a Suave brand solid which smells lovely but falls severely short of the protection I've become accustom to with my trusty Degree. Anyhow, I long ago switched away from clear gels because I was not a fan of the goopy wet feeling you get when putting it on; and I'm still not but I decided to give Secrets Outlast Clear Gel a fair try. First Impressions: The very first thing I noticed (after wondering if it had melted in my mailbox) was the strong but pleasant smell. Day 1: As it has been a while since I used a clear gel, I made sure to read the instructions - 2-3 clicks, then apply. It took about 20 clicks before anything came up the first time and when it did it seemed like an awful lot but I don't have much of a reference so I went with it. Turns out it was a bit much but not by a lot. It immediately reminded me why I walked away from clear gels so long ago as that goopy wet feeling is still off-putting to me. This did dry rather quickly (faster than I expected/remembered) and the strong fragrance faded to a more appropriate light scent after a few minutes. So far so good; mostly happy. Will update after a couple weeks of use.
