[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to get to try the Secret Outlast Xtend deodorant, because I love Secret and find it to be a reliable product. However, I typically choose an Invisible Solid version of their deodorants. In the past, I've found clear gels to feel too damp and moist (not great words OR feelings) and never get quite dry enough. I feel that the extra moisture is like just asking for a breeding ground for MORE moisture, bacteria, and odor. Unfortunately, though I joined the campaign quickly, only Clear Gel was left available to review, and only Completely Clean (different than my normal Powder Fresh preferred scent). I went into trying the Xtend Clear Gel with an open mind - perhaps great advances had been made in gel deodorants since I last tried them? Maybe one no longer has to stand around for several minutes unclothed, arms spread, hoping for things to dry out sufficiently before dressing? Unfortunately, my experience was that little has changed. I felt like it still took WAY longer for the gel deodorant to dry out enough for me to comfortably dress. I'm not a morning person and I prefer getting ready as quickly as possible, so the extra time alone for me to feel comfortable with a gel is not worth it. I would stick with Invisible Solid version of this (or any) deodorant, although that just may be personal preference. Further, I found little to differentiate the Xtend product from my typical Outlast product in terms of length of protection. Perhaps it's because I never feel like I'm completely dry to begin with using a gel, but I felt I had a lot more wetness and sooner in the day from the Xtend Clear Gel product versus my typical Outlast Invisible Solid. I wish I'd had a good chance to compare apples to apples with an Xtend Invisible Solid. Those negatives out of the way, I did enjoy the Completely Clean scent. I would try it again if they make it in my preferred Secret deodorant formulations. And even though there was wetness earlier in the day than what I usually use, it's still Secret, and still much better protection than many deodorants out there. If you prefer Gel deodorants, Xtend Clear Gel may be a great choice for you.

This is all you need. This product has kept sweaty shirts away during long work outs and hot days in the sun. And scared about those white stains on your new work clothes. Fear no more this is now the product you need. No worrying about having to put your shirt on first and trying to avoid getting deodorant on it. With the fast drying you can apply then get dressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes down to it, a deodorant/anti-perspirant only has two jobs: 1) prevent underarm sweat, and 2) prevent odor. If it's a clear gel, then it should also prevent white streaks on your clothes. If this is all you want from your deodorant, then Secret Outlast Xtend has you covered. You won't have embarrassing armpit sweat stains and you won't smell. You also won't get anything more than that, though. Applying deodorant is never really a luxurious experience, but it's generally not frustrating, either. Except Secret Outlast Xtend Clear Gel definitely felt more like the later than the former. Gel deodorants aren't usually my favorite because I feel like it takes a while for them to dry, and this was no exception -- in fact, I felt like it took significantly longer to dry than the last gel deodorant I used, Secret Outlast Completely Clean Clear Gel. I'm not sure if it's because I never really felt 'dry' after applying it or if it didn't go as good of a job at preventing sweat, but I often felt clammy during the day -- certainly not sweaty enough that I was concerned about visible armpit sweat, but never fully dry, either. The most annoying part, however, was the uneven application. Perhaps I just received a defective product, but there were lots of air bubbles throughout the stick of deodorant (see picture), which meant that each 'click' to push up product resulted in entirely different amounts. Sometimes one click was enough, sometimes it took 4 clicks and I still didn't have enough. The inconsistency, while admittedly quite a first world problem, isn't an issue I have had with other deodorants, and was an unnecessary hassle compared to other types. I always felt like I had either too much or too little applied. Like the review title suggests, this will keep you clean and (mostly) dry, but don't expect it to do anything else. (As far as the 48 hour odor protection claim, I admittedly didn't try that out. I have not found myself in a situation where I wasn't able to access my deodorant at least once every 24 hour period, and why risk showing up to work and finding it didn't last the full 48 hours?)

Its cute small got a fresh clean scent. it dries really fast faster than expected which is a plus. I usually use solid deodorants it's good to try something new before purchasing on my own. it lasts all day and it's travel size. no more white marks awesome:)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was expecting a clear gel, and was pleasantly surprised by to receive the variant and my product was specifically a clear solid. It did go on white, but after I rubbed in any excess product, it was clear. It had a really smooth feel and a nice clean scent that was neither too powdery or too much like cotton/linen. I tested it with different colors and was pleased that it didn't transfer and controlled any order all day. The only star knocked off was due to the fact it didn't go on immediately clear and I had to wait a few minutes before getting dressed. It may not be ideal for someone who literally has to throw it on, get dressed and run out the door.

She also wanted to rip out all of the carpet from her living room and lay down vinyl tiles. When we started cleaning out her house, I used my regular deodorant, which worked fine. However, when it came to ripping out the carpet and laying the vinyl tile, I decided to use the Secret Outlast Clear Gel that I had received from BzzAgent, and really put it to the test. I was a bit wary, at first, because of all my previous experiences with gel deodorants and the lingering sticky feeling. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Secret Outlast Clear Gel had no sticky feeling! As we were ripping out the carpet, I noticed that I was beginning to sweat in other areas, but my armpits were staying dry. When we stopped for lunch, I went to the bathroom and did a quick "smell" test and was happy to notice that the only smell was the light, pleasant scent of the deodorant! I chose not to reapply the deodorant at that time and to see if it would truly last the day and it did! By the time we were done that night, after finishing the floors and bringing all the furniture back in, I realized that my armpits had remained dry the entire day. A few days later, my 13 year old daughter told me that she was out of deodorant. I asked her how that was possible since I had just bought two deodorants for her. She said that she had been using both deodorants at one time in order to try to remain dry throughout the day and usually had to reapply her deodorant two or three times in the day. I grabbed my sample of the Secret Outlast Clear Gel and gave it to her to try. She was skeptical at first, but I told her that I had used it the day we ripped out the carpet and laid the vinyl tile and that it had lasted the entire day with one application. She said she was willing to try it to see how it worked. She told me a few days later that she LOVED the Secret Outlast Clear Gel, including the scent, because it kept her dry all day and she didn't have to reapply it. She asked me if I would buy this deodorant for her from now on and I said yes! A few days later, when we were at the store, I picked up two full size Secret Outlast Clear Gel deodorants...one for her and one for me.
