[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So Secret is my go-to deodorant brand already. I'm a big fan of the clinical strength line. So when I got the same of Secret in the mail, I was already on board. I haven't worn gel deodorant in forever and I couldn't remember why I didn't buy it, so I figured what a great way to get re-introduced to it, right? Yeah not so much. Even though the gel eventually dries and doesn't leave streaks like my solid one does, I can't seem to get past the "wet" feeling gel leaves on my underarms. Like it feels like thick sweat under my arms or something. The smell was great and it worked overall, but I just can't get past the gel thing. I'll be sticking to my solid Secret products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received my free sample of Secret Outlast Completely Clear from BzzAgent, I won’t lie, I scoffed a bit at the small sample size thinking to myself, Well this will be enough for 3 or 4 days to try it out. I suppose relative to other people, I can be described as a “heavy applier” of deodorant, especially the gel kind. For many years, my regular brand of deodorant was Mitchum in the gel kind, but I always used 2 clicks per armpit and that was a lot of product. After having my son, however, the Mitchum seemed less effective in keeping me fresh and dry. Perhaps my “Ph balance” changed. So I switched to Dove in a solid, but lately have been thinking about trying something else. I found myself having to reapply midday, and always before a workout. Even so, I didn’t always feel so fresh by bedtime. So when I saw the little Secret Outlast Completely Clear sample, I was happy to try it out but I wasn’t expecting a huge difference in my normal routine. Was I surprised! The first time I used it was just a normal workday, but it was hot out so I wanted to wear a sleeveless blouse. I applied 2 clicks of the Secret Outlast under each arm and let the gel completely dry before putting on my shirt. It did seem to take a little while to dry, but I was used to the solid (and dealing with white marks) so this wasn’t a big deal for me. Secret Outlast Completely Clear kept me dry and smelling nice all day long – no hint of odor even by the end of the day. This was better than my regular solid deodorant, since I did not have to reapply, but I hadn’t done anything strenuous during the day to really test out the potency. The next test day, another regular workday, I used only one click per underarm. Still, at the end of the day I was nice and fresh! I was starting to really like this new product. I used it again on a weekend, on a day where I was hosting a barbeque at my house. It was very hot out, and during the day I was outside grilling, steaming clams on a hot stove, chasing the kids with water balloons, and ending the night with a fire in the fire pit. I couldn’t’ believe after all that activity that I literally did not have a hint of odor at the end of the day. Secret Outlast Completely Clear even managed to keep on doing its thing after I got thrown in the pool and completely soaked! I’m pretty much sold on switching to this product and ditching my old solid. The major factors for me were: never having to worry about white marks on my clothes, not having to reapply deodorant throughout the day, and never having any hint of odor at the end of the day. I’ve even found that I wake up smelling fresher – rest assured that this product really lasts for 24+ hours! I haven’t tried going a full 48 without a fresh application, but I can tell you that if I happened to forget applying this in the morning one day, I wouldn’t have to make an emergency trip to the drug store or fear stinking up my office. I have confidence that Secret Outlast Completely Clear would get me through the full 48 with no issues! The only reason why I didn’t give Secret Outlast Completely Clear a full five stars was because the scent, while pleasant, was a just a bit too strong for me. But that is just personal preference, not a problem with the product. Also, I have very sensitive skin and I noticed that if I used Secret Outlast Completely Clear immediately after showering and shaving, I did experience some stinging and slight irritation. Again, I acknowledge that I have really sensitive skin, so many people probably would not have this issue. For me, I just waited 20 minutes or so after my shower to apply the product, and avoided the sting. I will be switching from my regular brand to this product – but I will try to find another scent option by Secret. Even if all the Secret scents are as strong as the Completely Clear, I will just live with it. It’s worth it to feel fully confident in my moisture and odor protection, while also banishing white marks!

I appreciated the sanitary measures with the protective seal and over all the deoterant lasted me all day! Not once during my workout did I start to smell , compared to other brands!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit skeptical about this product at first simply because of the Secret brand name and me not having very much luck with their products in the past but after I received a sample of this, courtesy of Secret, my mind has been changed. I absolutely love that it dries so quickly after it is applied and no matter what you're wearing you never have to worry about white marks on your clothes. Tank tops, blouses, t-shirts, dresses etc etc are all now safe from those hideous and very distinguishable stripes. The smell isn't super powerful either so don't worry about it overpowering your favorite body splash or perfume. Something else that really surprised me is how well it kept me dry even in super stressful situations including, but not limited to; working out, work meetings and presentations, meeting new people, babysitting etc etc. After finding this product I have no reason to look elsewhere. It does everything that I could ask for and more.

I personally wouldn't wear deodorant for 48 hours without washing, but this product does last a very long time. it goes on very invisible, which i like. Also, this product smells very nice, and i can't wait to see if this product has anymore different scents.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit the gel is a little weird to get use to, however it dries fairly quickly. I usually sweat a lot and this stuff works wonders. I'm not only dry all day but it smells great all day too. Today we were even in and out of the ocean and pool and I was good all day long. I was skeptical about the longevity of the product but it really does last and works great. I do reapply it in the morning so i haven't let it go 48 hrs but 24 hours is great with me.

For some reason, gel deodorants don't work for me like a solid deodorant does. I was hoping that this would change with this sample. However, so goes for this clear gel deodorant not working. I did enjoy the scent .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used a bunch of deodorants over the years, and previously settled on SpeedStick style white cake and Sure roll-ons that, over time, always resulted in a thick, clumpy build-up in my shirts, and an ever-present sticky coating on my pits. So a few years ago, I stole some of my wife's Secret gel, and haven't looked back. It goes on clear and clean, doesn't result in any cruddy residue buildup in my armpit hair, and it keeps me dry and odor-free. My wife pretty much agrees, though she she complains of gradual build-up if she doesn't let this stuff dry for a few minutes before slipping into a shirt. I get moderate BO when I sweat, and this product absolutely eliminates that problem for me short of when I'm really exerting myself and leaking sweat like a sieve. Maybe that why Proctor & Gamble dropped the "Strong enough for man; made for a woman" tag line. Works for me. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this deodorant. It went on clear and kept me dry all day. I like that it did NOT clump up under my arm pits like some of the white deodorants do. Over all I gave this product a five out of five.

This particular type of deodorant is awesome and definitely protects me from sweating and having an odor. But I wish this product didn't have any toxic chemicals in the product. I have currently been trying to convert my home to a toxic free home and I know that regular deodorant has many nasty things in them.
