[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I generally use a solid (usually Secret brand) or sometimes a clinical deodorant. I use these because they allow me to avoid the wet, often goopy, takes-too-long-to-dry feeling that gels tend to leave behind upon application while offering better protection against wetness and odor than any gels I've tried in the past. As with everything in life, though, there's a trade-off, which in this case is that solids and solid-form clinicals almost always leave white marks (even when they say they're formulated not to) and/or cake up on my clothes. If there's a lot of rub-off on a shirt, it sometimes won't all come out in the wash, leading to build up that causes the fabric to pill or feel stiff. So I was hopeful Secret Outlast® Completely Clean Clear Gel would work for me. I do have to say first that the knob you turn to dispense the product is a bit hard to control- I felt like it was hard to turn one "click" at a time, resulting in to much product being dispensed. I liked the Completely Clean scent, and putting it on felt pretty good- wet and cool at first, but pretty quick to dry. Not instantly by any means, but under 10 seconds, which is certainly better than any other gel I've tried. Once it dries, it feels silky - almost powdery, but with no powder residue, if that makes any sense. When it comes to wetness, I had somewhat of an odd experience. Throughout the day, I'd get the sensation of underarm wetness, but when I felt to check, I'd be dry. So while it was providing wetness protection, it didn't always feel as though it was. I certainly found it to provide odor protection, and I had no rub-off or residue on my clothes. I especially appreciated having Secret Outlast® Completely Clean Clear Gel with me down the shore, as I have a black bathing suit. I didn't have to worry about my deodorant ruining my suit or white marks showing when I raised my arms to lift my nephew out of the pool. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by Secret Outlast® Completely Clean Clear Gel, and while not perfect, I found it to be a good best-of-both-worlds compromise for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got my Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant and tried it right away. Since this is summer, the look of the underarms in tank tops and bathing suits is of the utmost important. After the first day it was clear that there was no white residue left behind. I was thrilled but I had to try it for several more days to make sure that this was something I could count on. I can say confidently that I have not had one incidence of white residue since using the clear gel. I am also happy with the cool feeling of applying the gel in the morning. I am very pleased overall with the product and will be switching to Secret Outlast Clear Gel from the other deodorants I had previously used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used a solid stick for my deodorant choice. However, since I was given a trial deodorant in the gel form, I thought I would give it a try. The scent of this deodorant is pleasant and refreshing. It definitely has a stronger scent than the solid stick that I have been using. You are able to smell it on yourself for a longer period of time. It dries relatively fast for being in a liquid/gel form, but it does take a few seconds to dry. Especially if you are not aware of how much will come out the first few turns. I have not seen many visible white mark left from the deodorant, but I also made sure to give it a seconds to dry before I immediately put my clothes on. I feel that it does really outlast the typical deodorants that I have tried; through workouts and all. The only downside could maybe be the drying period after you put it on. Overall, the scent, length of time it works, and dryness capabilities outweigh the drying time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off I have to say that I am more than a little put off by the marketing campaign for the Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant. Even if the product works, I don't want to think about people wearing deodorant for 48 hours with out showering - especially in the summer! It's not a good image and actually put me off of the product when I first read it. That all being said, I tried the Gel and have to say that it does live up to its long-lasting claims. It being the summer in MA, you know you need a strong deodorant that you can depend on to get you through 90 degree humid days. The Secret Outlast Clear Gel did just that. The smell is a little to sweet for me, I like more of a powder sent (usually use Dove), but it did keep other odors away for the day. Even waking up the next morning I could still smell that it was working. As for wetness protection, I was not that impressed with the product. I think my usual deodorant does a better job than then Secret Outlast did. I wore a sleeveless shirt for most of the day and found it wet at the end of it. I can only imagine if I had on sleeves how wet it would have been. The best part of the product was that it left NO white marks on my black shirt at all. This is almost a MIRACLE from any deodorant, but especially a gel. It would be great to not have to worry about that fashion faux pas in the morning. Overall I thought the product was fine, but did not like the scent or marketing campaign enough to change from my current product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I headed to the San Francisco Street Food Festival over the weekend and it was a real test of the Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant. Putting on a dark cropped, tank top, I was confident that this gel formula would not leave any ugly or embarrassing white marks on my clothes. The first test of the deodorant was a 20 minute walk to the shuttle to the festival. It was around 11am, so not peak temperature, but still quite hot and the product definitely held up with no feelings of wetness on the underarms. By the time I got to the shuttle, I was definitely sweating though I wasn't worried about body odour, A the festival, which was half outdoors, half indoors, the temperatures continued to rise with many tents barbequing and besides, that, much of the food was piping hot, making an already sweaty day, even more sweaty! After two hours at the festival, I headed back to the city center to go to the farmer's market and proceeded to purchase two giant grocery bags worth of produce which I then lugged uphill 20 minutes. If this wasn't a stress test of this deodorant, then I'm not sure what would be! I'm giving this product 3 stars, because I am not 100% sold on the wetness protection/antiperspirant function of it. However, despite being quite sweaty by the end of this outing, I did not have to worry about smelling OR about white streaks on my clothes. So major points for those two things!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to get the opportunity to try Secret's Outlast clear gel. Being in the dry Nevada heat, I am always looking for a long lasting antiperspirant/deodorant that I do not have to worry about losing protection. I loved the consistency of the product and how it went on clear and it truly did last all day, even through my after work gym visit without reapplying. The only thing I do not care for is the scent. I received the completely clean scent, and though I am not sensitive to smells, this scent tended to give me a headache and smelled, to me at least, more like perm treatment than a deodorant. I love the lasting protection and the clear formula of the product but if I purchase in the future, I will try a different scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had previously been using a competitor's brand of clinical strength deodorant - the white, chalky kind. Even though I really hated the staining/powder left behind on clothing used by this type of deodorant, I was finding I needed the strength of the clinical brand. When I became apart of the Secret Gel Deodorant campaign, I did not have high hopes. I have extremely sensitive skin, where I can react to scents, adhesives, lotions, and deodorants. I suspect my allergy has something to do with nickel or other metals, but I can't always be sure. As such, I've used the same deodorant brand for YEARS because it was safe choice for my skin - despite the fact it would often leave residue on my clothing. I was excited to try a new deodorant (what, you mean NO stains?!) but also nervous because having a skin reaction in my armpits is very irritating and uncomfortable. I started using the Secret gel deodorant a couple of weeks ago - conveniently, when my regular brand stick had run out. I was fully expecting to develop some form of rash or reaction because of the change, but I was happy to get through my day without a problem. While I haven't done any strenuous activity (hence, sweating a lot) since trying this deodorant out, I can say that it does a good job of keeping the sweat-and-stink at bay. Even with low impact activities, you can sweat-and-stink, if you get my drift - but the gel deodorant helps combat the odorous awkwardness. I am excited to have found a new deodorant to use - because it works, I am not allergic, and it's a heck-of-a-lot-cheaper than the clinical brand I had been using! Thanks, Secret!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't a fan of gel deodorant AT ALL before trying this product. They were sticky, crumbly, gooey, didn't dry, didn't protect me from sweat or odor and did NOT appear to last all day in this humid Florida heat! I had to keep applying and it just wasn't working out for me so I was always stuck with having white marks and living with it if I used a gel. I quit buying gels and kept to the invisible solids because of their coverage ability, but again, the white marks! This gel worked pleasantly different for me. Secret hit the ball outta the park on this one. As we all can guess, Florida is a horrible, sweaty, muggy mess in summer as it is much of the year, but the worst at this time of year! Guess what?!; I WAS DRY AND CLEAN ALL DAY!!! I didn't have residue, I didn't have white marks on the undersides of my shirt, I didn't have sweat stains, I didn't STINK like sweat.. I really cannot say enough good things about this product. The next morning I took a shower and i still felt the product on (though it easily washed off in the tub) so the up tp 48-hour claims are truly a valid statement. If you've tried gels in the past, or if even you just use solids like I had to, I'd give this product a whirl, you probably won't be going back to whatever you used before and you definitely will have a different opinion of gel deodorants/antiperspirants!
