[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used clear gel in the past and not liking them, I went into this testing phase skeptical. First thing: as soon as I opened the envelope the mini stick came in, I was assaulted by the very strong and pungent scent. Immediately I was not looking forward to wearing this. Second thing: wet armpits. After putting it on, I had to walk around with my arms above my head to wait for it to dry. It says it dries in seconds, but it was actually a minute or so for me. Probably due to the third thing. Third thing: the curved top is ergonomically designed to fit into your armpit, but this does not mesh well with a gel deo. I got a ton of product on the ends with barely any in the middle. So I had to try to smush it around on my armpit. Fourth thing: says that it won't stain your clothes. Ok, this is true, but this has never been a problem with my invisible solid, as I get dressed first and put deo on second. Very rarely do I switch out after applying my deo and if I do, I don't have the stick stain problem. Fifth thing: I can't testify to how well it keeps you dry or if it lasts 48 hours because I had to wash out my armpits to get rid of the smell. The scent was so powerful that it triggered a migraine. Not what I'm looking for in a deodarent.

Sadly I am too smelly for most deodorants and the natural kind especially. I usually have to use the "extreme" or "maximum protection" variety. This one isn't bad. It kept me smelling mostly fresh on a hot day filled with walking around manhattan to and from the trains. It was nice that it was clear, so I wouldn't have to worry about getting white marks on my top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far on day one, I have to say I am not 100% thrilled. When applied to my first arm, I noticed some stinging to the arm. When I went to apply to my second arm, I had to turn the dial 10+ times to even get the product to come out. When I applied, I yet again noted some stinging. Now, several hours later, my arms still feel sticky. With that said, I did apply sparingly. I don't think the gel type deodorant is for me. I won't be using again any time soon.

I was a little skeptical to try the sample of Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant. I was so pleasantly surprised when I first applied it. It didn't feel messy at all, in fact, it didn't even feel wet when I applied, almost like it was not a gel. This deodorant lasts better than any I have ever personally used. I almost always apply deodorant twice daily, in the morning and again in the afternoon. Most days I am so busy I feel applying deodorant twice is the only way I can feel fresh all day. Secret Outlast Clear Gel worked for me so well that I didn't feel the need to reapply. It stayed with me all through the day, working for me like a deodorant should. Some days I stay so busy I feel like I don't touch down until bedtime so knowing I am perspiring makes me feel not as confident as I should be. This deodorant gives me that confidence to get through the day. Although I haven't been brave enough to go the full 48 hours without reapplying, I am sure if I did happen to forget to use deodorant that second day, Secret Outlast Clear Gel would have me covered.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was young and I first started using deodorant I tried a clear gel product and used it roughly twice then threw it away because it was so horrible, and after that experience I stuck with 'invisible solids'. One click of the dial on the bottom of the deodorant dispensed a tremendous amount of goopy gel which when applied to the underarm, would stay wet, stick and incredibly uncomfortable all day, making little me very self conscious. It looked like I had sweated a ton, but it was actually the product that was supposed to prevent that situation from happening. The thought of clear gel deodorant was so unpleasant to me that despite years of waxy buildup (which is literally impossible to remove trust me i tried everything) adorning & all but ruining the pits of all my favorite knits & delicate tops, I kept using invisible solids because they seemed like the only alternative (aerosol just seems like a bad idea, poor ozone). But then I got fed up with how it was ruining all of my nice tops and I threw away my invisible solid, determined to find a better solution. I tried one of those aluminum rock things that you moisten & rub in your pits and it did help a bit, for like 3 hours or so, if i didn't move and it wasn't warm out. So clearly that wasn't a viable option. I tried other 'natural' deodorants but they are really expensive and just didn't cut it. Finally, after trying Secret Outlast Clear Gel I can finally say that I am converted to clear gels and my waxy buildup problem is solved (still trying to remove the old buildup, but i'm not accruing any more! Woohoo!). The dial is fairly sensitive, so even if a full click does dispense too much, you can turn it back a tiny bit and it will retract a small amount so I am fully in control of how much is dispensed at a time. As a result of that and how quickly it dries, ( super quickly) I generally don't find myself in situations where i have a ton of wet goop in my pits that just wont dry. The only exception to this is if i am somewhere really hot/humid and i am already sweating by the time i put it on, then it stays a little sticky, but thats really not the deodorants fault. I wasn't the hugest fan of the Completely Clean scent at first but it has grown on me, so that is a plus. I also like the clear packaging which lets you see exactly how much is left so you can replenish your stock before you get caught without any left. As for the claim about 48 hr protection, under normal daily circumstances where i'm not really sweating it can last for about 48 hrs, but if i have gotten sweaty on day 1, when i wake up on day 2 it is apparent that it hasn't survived the night. But I can live with that since everything else about it is great!

No greasy, no flakes. It dry so quickly. Just perfect product. I am loving this product in winter season so it will rock my summers definitely. Hey girls you can even wear black or colored clothing after applying it. No marks will appear on your clothing. I have checked it many times. Feel free and use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was younger I tried gel deodorant and was not impressed. I put it on feeling like sweat and felt that way all day long. I didn't have high hopes that this would work but I was surprised. First off the smell was amazing and it lasted the whole day. No more white marks for me to have to worry about. The only thing I didn't like was the wet feeling when you first put it on. I'll trade the wet feeling any day for the amazing smelling, long lasting, and no wet marks! I was so impressed.

It lasts through work, the kids, shopping, even the gym! It goes on clear and dries instantly, and it also smells fantastic! Hands down best deodorant I have ever tried, I will never switch back. No other deodorant I have ever tried has ever given me this kind of confidence. Try it, I promise you won't regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Secret is a company that I love, but I have never taken the leap for a clear gel. I have a condition that causes adrenaline surges and therefore increased sweating. I'm always looking to try out new deoderants, especially since my body seems to get immune over time. I was super excited about this bzz campaign! This morning I put it on and had a few hectic things to deal with. My heat went out, I had a nursing visit, and a doctors appointment. Within two hours I was sticky and uncomfortable. I ended up having to come home, change, and apply new deodorant. It's very cool here too, in the 40's, so I'm definitely disappointed. Secret needs to make some changes. Their solid works so well, but this I would never purchase.
