I was a bit hesitant at first because it is a gel, but what the hay, once I opened it the smell of the deodorant was nice. I put a little on my forearm to test it out, then was a little more optimistic. As I got ready for work Last night I decided to try it out at work. I am a CNA at a nursing home, and by the time I have been there 30 minutes my deodorant has usually decided to stop working. Not last night, it lasted all night. I was surprised, I might have found my new favorite deodorant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Secret Outlast Completely Clean Deodorant. This deodorant goes on clear and doesn't leave any residue. It has a fresh scent that reminds me of Bounce dryer sheets. Very fresh scent. I love that it dries fast. I have tried other clear deodorants and they felt wet. This one definitely didn't feel that way. I also enjoyed that the deodorant kept me fresh all day. I didn't feel the need to reapply it or feel that my armpits were getting sweaty. I also like that such a small amount is needed. I only use 2 clicks and that is plenty for me. Overall I would recommend this deodorant. I only deducted a star because I worry about the chemicals used.

I want something that smells great, but I also want it to protect me in an area that makes most women cringe when they see a small wet spot forming on their shirt. I don't sweat profusely and I don't suffer from a sweating malady - I just perspire more than the average woman. On a daily basis, I use a clinical strength deodorant, but I've had such great success with Secret in the past, I decided to give this baby a test run. Let me first start by saying the smell of this product is DELECTABLE. I loved it! It smelled so fresh, so sweet, so feminine... strong, but not too strong. Just enough for a small whiff to hit the nose of a passerby. And it held up to its name - the formula, when applied, dried very quickly for me. The morning I used it, I pulled my shirt on, applied my deodorant, gathered my belongings and hit the door. I could smell myself putting my items into the vehicle, I could smell myself in the car, I could smell myself pulling my belongings out of the car, I could smell myself walking into work... I could smell myself for a good portion of the morning and, not to toot my own horn, I smelled great! I started running into issues close to lunch, the hottest part of the day here in the grand'ole Nevada desert. I started to notice a stickiness in my underarms - a quite uncomfortable, very wet kind of feeling. A feeling you do NOT want in that area of your body. I dabbed away a little bit of the sticky and continued about my day. Not even a few minutes later and I had that dreaded feeling again. So, away I dabbed, attempting to dry out my underarms. I continued through the day, repeatedly dabbing at my underarms. I had no choice. Without dabbing, I surely would've shown signs of sweat and sticky deodorant through my light purple shirt. I work in an office setting, nothing major, which is why I was disappointed that it couldn't hold up to my very sedentary job. However, I can't blame it, nor can I expect the product to hold up to my extra perspiration. This deodorant would meet my every standard if I was staying home, watching TV and not moving. Would I buy it again? Yes - but only for the smell.

They don't like the sticky wet feeling. And I was one if those people who vowed to never buy gel deodorant. I remember growing up having to wear gel deodorant. I hated it. The smell was bad it was cold and it felt sticky and gooey. Not to mention once it dried you would get a big white soot under your armpit where the deodorant was and another spot in your shirt. But secret has changed the gel deodorant game. I tried it and I have to say it changed my opinion about gel deodorant. It went in so smooth like butter and it felt silky not sticky or gooey. It dried fast and clear just as promised. Once dried you couldn't even tell you had anything on. It left no white residue on my armpit or my shirt. The smell was wonderful. It smelt like a perfume and every time I moved it was like a personal poof of freshness. I showered and out the deodorant on and went through the out my day then the next day I didn't put any on because the product claims to last for 48 hours. I think it kives up to that. By the end of the second day I still smelt fresh and didn't have a stinky smell to me. It was still sticky free and has no residue as well.

Secret has really outdone itself with this version of Outlast Clear Gel...I usually have issues with wetness or smell (unfortunately) and I have to reapply deodorant throughout the day. Not to mention, it gets all over your clothes when you use a solid stick. However, I loved that all I had to do was click and apply once in the morning and that was it! It dried super fast, there was no lingering residue on my clothes and the smell mixed well with my body chemistry! Can't beat tried n true! For me, this is a game changer! Only issue I had was minor burning sensation after shaving my armpits in the shower and then applying right afterward. But overall, the benefits greatly outweigh this and in no way shape or form will make me go back to my old deodorant!
