The TV itself is great, although I'm going to have to send it back because It appears when it was shipped. It was placed close to magnets which has distorted part of the screen other than that perfect. Just what I purchased nice product vizio always has been for me

This is a very pleasing TV for all our OTA and streaming use. The colors are accurate and vivid and one thing we especially like is being able to view what's displayed from quite an angle to the side and still see everything clearly. With many TVs of all brands, you must sit directly in front (or very nearly so) in order to see everything displayed properly. This is a characteristic of this TV that was VERY important to us since our house has what's referred to as an "open living room/kitchen" area, with the TV set up for best viewing from our large couch, however my wife can easily view the TV from quite a side angle while working in the kitchen, so she doesn't feel like she's missing any of the detail presented in whatever we're watching. There are a couple of other things we like too. One is the WatchFree feature that adds a LOT of streaming sources via the Internet connection that doesn't cost anything to watch and several of these are movies and TV programs and series that are actually desirable to watch. Another thing is Vizio very recently sent out a software update with more user friendly capabilities that enable the remote control to much more easily change OTA TV channels as well as the line-up of WatchFree channels and it also enabled a long sought direct channel input (i.e., number pad) that also helps select all viewing channels directly. So, overall, we are VERY pleased with this TV and highly recommend it.

I mainly bought this for gaming, and let me tell you — it does not disappoint. Super low input lag, smooth motion, and graphics that look next level. It definitely holds its own against higher-end models. The sound quality also surprised me — it’s rich, immersive, and feels like you're sitting in a theatre. No need for a soundbar unless you’re super picky.

Keep your expectations in place, it was $329 on sale, for a 55" 4K TV. As for the Q part of the QLED, I can't really. tell the difference between that and not having that. I have it mounted directly below a cheap 43" TV from years ago, and it looks similar to me. It has built in apps, yes. It has a decent picture, yes. It is easy to set up and operate, yes. Here is what I took away a star for. I watch the FRNDLY app, that offers the METV, FETV, INSP, GRIT Chanels, all those those old shows and all that. And yes, I know many of those old shows are in black and white. But the quality of the picture, using FRNDLY app from the built in app that you can get from the Vizio store, the picture quality is substantially worse than when using an Apple TV box to stream the same. I can get Dolby vision picture quality (it says so, but it is noticeable). When using the Apple TV streamer I get a much nicer picture so why not when simply looking through the TV's built in apps? I don't understand that. Same app, same subscription, same everything, but the TV's streamer is awful in comparison. This very obvious difference is why I dropped a star, maybe I should drop it two stars but I'll leave it at that.

superior color, remote controls are intuitive, take out of the box, plug in and you are immediately in full control of all color settings. go to cable remote. press guide and the Vizio automatically shifts over to cable box control. Put in a disk, press play, and TV then switch auto to DVR.

My other Vizio QLED television that I got from Best buy 2 years ago I'm currently visiting in Paterson and I tried everything that I could try under the sun to get it to work It would just all the sudden turn off or reset on its own the back of the television was pretty warm and now it's the last thing that they were suggesting that maybe the power board or whatever they're talking about is getting hot with the old one being model number Q55Q j60. this new one is pretty much the same model number except it has l4 on the end taking a chance here I hope it's okay I also did get the 4-month extended warranty just in case

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tv a week ago and I Love the picture of this tv, for the price couldn't ask for anything better, the tv speakers do need some work so you definitely need a sound bar, once you get that it will be the best purchase you could have made.

Bought as a bundle with a soundbar. The bundle advertised “QuickFit”, which allows you to easily connect the soundbar to the bottom edge of the TV. However only the soundbar supports “QuickFit” — the TV does not! So now I am forced to jerry-rig some third party bracket.

Great price and easy hookup for a 55” Vizio. Picture quality is pretty great. I would recommend getting the Vizio soundbar (or similar) if you have a good sized room. We mounted ours on our great room wall and the sound would not carry without the soundbar addition.
