The colors on this TV are absolutely fantastic! I know another person with a fancy Sony TV that doesn't have colors like this tv does. The packaging is very well done, it was well protected. I had to drag it around and turn it and all sorts of things and it held up great, no damage. It was fairly easy to setup, although the screws for the TV stand took some effort and I put them in backwards at first so I wish there were more clear instructions for that (where the stand is marked "2", that is the side that goes behind the tv). It runs on the Vizio system and is not an android tv or chromecast which means some apps you're used to might be missing, but the main apps like YouTube and Netflix are there. It is loaded with unnecessary apps which you can uninstall if you want . Sound quality is also amazing! Overall, I'm very impressed with this TV for the price of under $300!

The VQD55R-1001 looks much sharper and the "Quantum" colors are incredibly vivid. I used my tablet to scan the on-screen QR codes for all our favorite streaming apps, which made logging in one-by-one much faster than using a traditional remote. The picture quality is very good, way better than the review I gave the Phillip television. The color is vibrant; therefore adjust to your preference. I gave 4 stars for sound, BUT I believe for any television especially of that size and greater you have to purchase a soundbar to get the full effect of a movie and or regular programming. There are multiple apps with Vizio so you can pick, choose and refuse. I've had the television for 3 months and so far I'm pleased with it. If something changes, I will be sure to update. I really like the color and the clarity of the picture on this television. It's easy to operate and was easy to install and hook up. The sound wasn't great, but I added a VIZIO sound bar to it and listening is even better. I think I will keep getting VIZIO products. I've never been disappointed.

LOVE this TV! It was a no-brainer! VIZIO has proven that they are a pretty darn good maker of TV's, and at this price?? really? I recall back in the day paying over 2K for my SHARP (now i forget the big deal back then, but ended up i WAY overpaid!) the TV's today are proven to be throwaways anyhow, if you get 5 years from them it's good enough! esp with all the new technology every year! **Like my rating so I can keep giving opinions! :) THANK YOU

with the tv I had also paid $79 to install the tv protection pkg. No one has notified in reference to installing the tv. Apparently the installer is Angie's list. I tried emailing them and its an invalid website. My tv is still in the garage awaiting installation.

I found out the Walmart now owns Vizio and you are forced to connect your Walmart account to set up this television! Then I got all these popups on my phone for stuff to buy. This is unethical and should be illegal! Plus the TV is at a lower price now too. I want the difference credited to my account asap.

I purchased this VIZIO TV from Walmart in February 2026 and had been using it normally for about eight months. Then, without warning, the TV suddenly required me to go through a new (complicated and time consuming) setup process AND connect it to my Walmart account. I was forced to download the VIZIO Mobile app, link my Walmart account, accept VIZIO’s Terms and Privacy Policy, and make choices regarding Activity Data and Viewing Data just to regain access to the smart TV features I had already been using. What makes this especially frustrating is that I purchased and paid for this TV months before this requirement was introduced. A software update should not turn an already-owned television into something that requires a new account and setup process. I am extremely disappointed that VIZIO/Walmart made this change to a TV I already owned. I would not purchase another VIZIO TV because of this experience.
