Purchased this TV to replace a TV that went through a tornado that hit our home. This tv has a very clear picture. The colors really stand out brilliantly.. The sound is also good. Was easy to setup. Had it installed and setup in 20 minutes. And loved the price Walmart has for the tv. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a quality tv for a great price.

Unbelievable Picture Super Easy Setup

I don't know why others have issues with setup as it was a breeze. I could not believe the colors and overall display. It has a better picture than on my Vizio 4K tv. Sound is great after tweaking to my personal settings. I'm super happy. Just login to your Vizio account and it should take you to the login for your Walmart account, put a payment on file, NO CHARGES unless YOU buy a subscription. I'm not a big fan of the new remote as it's too slippery and the buttons aren't in the same location as my 4k remote. Thankfully the 4K remote pairs.

First of all, it was a little wider than my last 55" TV. I had to put a board on top of my entertainment center. I think it has a great picture. I wish there were better directions on how to navigate it to find apps and how things work. I am not as tech savvy as others. Still getting used to it.

VIZIO 55" Class Quantum 4K QLED HDR Smart TV (VQD55R-10) I decided to get rid of cable TV and use an Indoor antenna that works very well on the other two TV's that my family uses and they get all the channels possible with channel scan. The Vizio I purchased only gives a few selected channels even though the Input was for antenna and a TV scan was done for the channels. The Vizio also wants to continue using an internet connect but I do not have an internet connection that I would want Vizio to hook up to -- just the indoor TV antenna. I wish I had known ahead of time that this was going to be an issue. Upon reading comments concerning this TV, there are some poor reviews on Reddit that do not recommend this TV for my reason and other reasons. Maybe other Vizio TV's have been upgraded to be more user friendly. Another thing I do not like is the remote control that is too much of a pain to go through the steps of changing channels, and then it will only give you the channels that the TV selects.

Fine TV, horrible remote control

The tv is nice. The remote is awful. It does not respond well. It's just feels “cheap”. I attached my die stick to the tv so I could use that remote. Much easier. The fire-stick died. Trying to use this remote is torture. I have fresh batteries. I have to push buttons 2 or 3 times before it reacts.

Not as impressed with my new Vizio as my old one

wish I had known there would be issues with it working with my local TV cable. Delivery was fine and fast. Have had to add an amp to the cable and it still will not play my cable tv channels. Had to add a stick to use my Roku channels. I was telling a friend that works in a assisted living place in Fla about the cable tv issue and she said they have problems with walmart vizio tvs that will not work with their dish providers. Another almost funny issue is I have another older vizio in my bedroom which shares a wall with the living room. (the old vizio is a great tv, no cable issues with it) but sometimes when I use the remove to turn off the living room TV (the new one) it turns on the one in the bedroom, but it won't turn it off, so I have to go in there and turn it off with the remote for that tv. I have found I can over come this by angeling the remote at about 45 degrees from the screen of the newer TV. While I love my old vizio I am not nearly as fond of this new one.

Rip off! This is terrible. I cannot use the TV without giving it my Walmart account. It literally says “A Walmart account is required to access your Smart Tv functionality .” In short, I'm forced to give an account that has nothing to do with television usage in order to do anything but turn on the power!!! Manipulation, control, and forcing people to give personal information to use the TV AT ALL!! NO THANKS!

The TV did not come with a remote, without legs and instructions, just the TV, how even will I supposed to turn it on without a remote? No legs to be able to stand up the TV, I am done with Walmart, done buying there. I should have bought from Best Buys or Micro Center.

The past few months, it keeps resetting, the remote won't work (fresh batteries), I have to try to restart several times to get it to work, the app remote doesn't work well. Today was its last day. I don't recommend this TV. Waste of money!
