I had the same model but 1 year older that was damaged by a surge during a lightning storm. To install this new one I needed to call a a service center and have someone register and setup the TV at a cost of $80.00. This time I added a surge protector to protect the TV.

This Vizio TV exceeded my expectations in both price and quality. The picture is crisp, the sound is clear, and setup was fast and easy. For the price, the performance is outstanding—it delivers great value without sacrificing quality. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

this is a nice tv but its also sensitive if u bump the remote anyway it will cause your tv to reset or mess the picture up on the screen idk if everyone else is dealing with this or i jus so happen to spend my hard earned money and get lucky to have the least functional tv but if no one else is aware heres the warning!!!

I have owned it two months. It stopped connecting to the network. i followed trouble shooting steps, contacted support. Support had nothing to offer beyond what i had done. they told me to fill out the claim at a link. when you hit submit they tell you they will get back to you within 10 business days to let you know if they are honoring your claim. Basically talking to a black box. 10 days to find out if stand behind their product.

This TV replaces an older Vizio, so moving the mounting plate over and reusing the wall mount was easy. The picture is great, and the remote is simple. Too simple for me. Too many useful buttons not included. Instead, there are six separate buttons to connect to apps. If you don't use that app, it's just wasted space. I have not tested the internal speakers since I have a sound bar. My last Vizio TV had atrocious sound, hence the sound bar. Working well so far. I have cable, which is about to be cut, so I've been using the on-screen menu and offerings from Vizio. It's relatively complete and allows me to easily access my streaming apps. The only thing I'll miss in this transition is my cable company's DVR. I still haven't found one that does what I want and is compatible with this TV (Tablo isn't).

My other Vizio QLED television that I got from Best buy 2 years ago I'm currently visiting in Paterson and I tried everything that I could try under the sun to get it to work It would just all the sudden turn off or reset on its own the back of the television was pretty warm and now it's the last thing that they were suggesting that maybe the power board or whatever they're talking about is getting hot with the old one being model number Q55Q j60. this new one is pretty much the same model number except it has l4 on the end taking a chance here I hope it's okay I also did get the 4-month extended warranty just in case

Excellent product. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great replacement TV.

picture good to vry good. sound not as clear as older (2010?) models with surround sound tv base.
