Just put mine up today. I had tracked the supply and when I saw them in I ordered right away. It was 100% worth it. It lit up my whole house very nicely and the amount of control is border line overwhelming. If you're even considering it, stop wasting time and buy them.

Youll definitely want to follow the install instructions …especially the cleaning the soffit part… AND double check all the lights work before you hang them. I did wait until I had a warm day to hang them to help make sure the 3m adhesive stuck well. They look great and operate as expected. As of now, I'd recommend them!

I recently purchased Govee outdoor permanent lights to outline the front of my house. I couldn't be any happier. The super gummy adhesive made the installation so easy. Just use a ruler or other object as a guide to keep the line straight and your lights will shine bright in no time. Highly recommend.

As a new installer of Govee lights my customers have been thrilled with the endless options and combinations of colors that Govee lights can accomplish. In 5 years the incandescent xmas light bulb will be a thing of the past! Thanks Govee for making an awsome and customizable product! I hope to sell many more in the future!

The lights and there functionality is fantastic. What needs improvement is the amount of wire mounting pieces. Needed to use additional wire mounting pieces to secure wires and lights as I did not want to rely on the 3M tape only. It would also be nice if there was an option of a trim piece that could be placed over the wire. As hard as you try, the wire does not lay completely flat. A trim piece with screw holes for mounting would solve the mounting issue and appearance issue. Lastly, the Govee Home app for programing the lights is not user friendly. I now know the basics, but it would be nice to offer a tutorial for its use. Don't get me wrong, I love the lights, but they could be better.

Makes my neighbors Christmas lights look inadequate when I turn on a full 150 foot string of these outdoor Govee RGBIC LED lights. I love that they remain up year round and I can change the colors/themes/dynamic lighting with an easy to operate Govee app on my phone. Two challenging items: sticking the 3M taped backs of the lights onto outdoor wood and spanning across the sides of your roof that have rafters sticking out and are wider than the light spacing. The 3M tape I found works best if you use a rag and rubbing alcohol to clean the place the light will be stuck to and do the same every other light for the provided wire hold downs that come with a screw (the best way to keep some spots that do not stick to stay in place). The rafters I had to get creative and double up on the lights (ie. put one light on the bottom of the rafter and the adjacent light on the bottom side of the roof and then repeat in which there would be approximately double the lights due to the two different mounting locations for every two lights). All in all, it was all worth it. Can't wait now for each season and the various lighting schemes I'll use (and just plain white lights for a bright outdoor lighting of the front exterior of the house on normal times, good for that secure feeling that nobody can lurk in the dark around the front of your house since there is no dark spots anymore.)

The lights were difficult to install primarily because of the 4 clips that need to be screwed into every strand of lights. The screws provided do not fit into a standard Philips head bit making it a difficult job when working off of an extension ladder. The other issue is the lights can only be controlled from the GOVEE App. The app is not user friendly, requires an internet connection and is a bit of a PIA to navigate through. There should be an option to use the controller to change light settings. The lights should be brighter or more lights per strand. Not worth the money in my opinion.

I bought the permenant outdoor lights 100ft and the Govee curtain lights. The permenant lights came which is 6 strands only 3 of then would actually turn on. I got a hold of support and they sent 3 more replacement strands. I have yet to recieve. Curtain lights worked as advertised.

We absolutely love these lights, for holidays, sports events, just to look cool , and security. I will be filling my house with govee lights. Thank you for such awesome lights. I will be posting videos on the app site and your store site soon.. thanks again.

We Love our new permanent lights, we received them quicker than I thought we were going to get them and they're really easy to install! Our neighbor bought these just before Halloween, so we had to get them for our house too because putting up and taking down the Christmas lights every year really sucked! I highly recommend these lights because if you want bright lights, easy installation, and the ability to change the colors for any event or holiday, then these are what you want!!
