All I can say is WOW! My wife, kids and I love these lights. Installation was extremely easy (although we have a two story house and climbing the ladder is a little scary). The lights are very bright, the colors are vibrant, and the app was very easy to set up (plug in the lights and the app picked them up right away). Only been up for 4 days, so lets just hope they last a long time, because I do not want to climb back up the ladder.

I'm very happy with my purchase of these lights. I'm planning on buying more to put on the house. They are very easy to put up and if anyone is worried about them sticking on, don't be. They are very sticky and you don't have to worry about them falling.

I am very happy with the 300' display on my home. My neighbors are all asking about my new lights. My house glows! It looks amazing! Super cool! Some of the adhesive was not adhered to the lights, causing me some frustration and forcing me to add extra screw clips. My 2nd story roof profile with different hips and ridges, was challenging and I could have used a 25' extension. The valleys in my soffit were a challege to have enough surface to stick to. so far I have had 3 lights become detached from the still stuck to the soffit glue strips. This is a Govee manufacturing issue. When cleaned the backing of the light with alcohol, the strip adhered to the light properly. This shouldn't have happened and is very upsetting while installing on the top of a 30' ladder! Get it right Govee!

Anyone giving these 1 star are only mad because they couldn't get their hands on them, not because they don't actually like the product. I did manage to get my hands on these - kept an eye on the in-stock dates for months and got them on my second attempt to buy (the first time, Govee mistakenly launched them an hour earlier than what they said the in-stock time would be). These were shipped extremely fast and delivered to me in well under a week. I will say, I'm rounding up with the 5-star rating because I have to; in truth, I deduct half a star for the very minimal hardware included to affix the lights in any real permanent way. Each 16.4ft strand comes with six 10mm LED light clips that you can screw in; one for every 4 lights. Aside from that, each light has a 3M adhesive backing that I guess they expect to do the job of holding the vast majority of lights up year-round - except, the reason I bought these is because adhesive hooks weren't doing the job for my traditional holiday lights and definitely would still not do the job with these. So, I went on Amazon and bought 100 more of the type of screw-in clips that came with these (search “Hysmigor transparent Strip Light Clips"and thank me later). We put one on each side of each light (in addition to using the 3M adhesive backing), which was time consuming, but now we know beyond the shadow of a doubt that these lights aren't going anywhere. And all that was totally worth it! I just love them. So easy to set-up with the Govee app and manage alongside your other Govee lights (I'm not employed by Govee, I swear, but these outdoor lights are a new addition to my existing collection of TV strip lights, gym floor lights, and interior car lights from Govee. I wouldn't have so many if they weren't extremely easy to set up/use, and weren't truly adding value and joy to my life). The fact that I can not only leave these up year round and never have to hang Christmas lights again, but also change the color scheme for each holiday and gathering, makes these worth every penny and hour spent hanging them up. We are even using them as neutral flood lights outside in between holidays, as our yard is otherwise very dark. I have these lights on a couple of my houses. The lights work great and the app is easy to use. The only downside is how to mount them. I've had two sets fail with the tape so far in less than a month. One set is on plastic soffit and the other is on smooth wood painted beams. Had to use the clips and screws. Problem with the is that on the beams, you can only get one side of the light screwed down due to the beam only being 1.5" wide. Wish the light pod itself had a reinforced screw hole to hold them flat against the surface.

These lights are just awesome. Easy to set up and it makes your house standout all year long. I like using them just as white accent lights and then you can change it up for every holiday. The govee app lets you customize to your liking and there is tons of preset options. The app also lets you set a timer to auto turn on and off the lights. I have recieved so many compliments from my neighbors just with the accent lights on. Come holidays with these lights you will defintely have the best lights on the street. My only complaint is that the white color is not as white as what the photo shows on the website for the accent lights but other than that I really love these lights.

Govee Permanent outdoor lights are the perfect accent lights for our home. They are perfect for use as holiday lighting. My only complaint is they need to offer the option to buy extra extension cords. We have three gaps in our roof line that needed no lights

I love the lights and abilities with the app. However the lights fail to stick well to the surface and have been having to reapply them on a daily basis often requiring me to keep putting the ladder up. I used the automation system to create a schedule for both separate strands for 150 feet but only one side adheres to schedule and must manually turn on other strands from the app. I love the capabilities and endless options of scenic lights I just wish they stuck better and turned on properly via set automation.

The lights look and work great. The app itself is a bit of a letdown. The controls aren't as intuitive and easy to use and I would hope. There's no way to take a premade setting and edit it for your own liking. It's not as easy as it should be, but it gets the job done.

The family and I love our govee lights. Easy to install and the color options are phenomenal. The kids love to choose a different color almost every night. I bought 2 of these kits for my house along with many other govee lights for inside the house.
