I bought the permenant outdoor lights 100ft and the Govee curtain lights. The permenant lights came which is 6 strands only 3 of then would actually turn on. I got a hold of support and they sent 3 more replacement strands. I have yet to recieve. Curtain lights worked as advertised.

We absolutely love these lights, for holidays, sports events, just to look cool , and security. I will be filling my house with govee lights. Thank you for such awesome lights. I will be posting videos on the app site and your store site soon.. thanks again.

I originally bought 2 100' boxes. After installing, I realized I could use an additional 50' section to complete my house. I cannot tell you enough how much I love these lights. They have been exactly what I have been looking for in an everyday light, holiday light, party light, etc. I bought the original Permanent Lights, not the Pros. These lights are so simple to use and install. I am not a fan of heights so I worked up enough courage to get on a ladder and walk across my roof. After installing, the app is so much fun to play with. It was a little difficult for me to understand but I am learning with the help from others in the Govee Facebook groups. This has been one of the best investments I have ever made.

The lights themselves are great! Bright, colorful. Easy to control. One recommendation would be an automatic season changer. Use the date to determine what color scheme the lights will be. Would love to set them and forget them. Losing one star for me because I have had to replace the sticky film 2 times almost on each light. It just won't stick to the painted wood awnings that I have. I have used alcohol wipes before and made sure it was dry. Probably going to be using hot glue or some super 3M tape because this won't stick.

The lights and there functionality is fantastic. What needs improvement is the amount of wire mounting pieces. Needed to use additional wire mounting pieces to secure wires and lights as I did not want to rely on the 3M tape only. It would also be nice if there was an option of a trim piece that could be placed over the wire. As hard as you try, the wire does not lay completely flat. A trim piece with screw holes for mounting would solve the mounting issue and appearance issue. Lastly, the Govee Home app for programing the lights is not user friendly. I now know the basics, but it would be nice to offer a tutorial for its use. Don't get me wrong, I love the lights, but they could be better.

Very impressed with the quality and how every detail of the design was so well thought out. The strands are light and very easy to install. I used around the perimeter of my white pool cage. I love how the the cord fades away and the lights are the shining stars. The app is user friendly and has endless color options. I'm very happy I found this Grovee product!

Installation is pretty easy, the problem is the adhesive doesn't hold well and the screws the kit comes with for the clips are not even useable. The head is way too small and no drill bit will work. They've been installed less than a week and are falling down, and I cleaned the mounting area and applied pressure on each light for at least 20 seconds each. When they are up and turned on they look awesome, but after taking my time and installing all day on a two story home I don't really feel like fixing them constantly, that was the appeal of buying “permanent"outdoor lights.

I bought this system in July. Was installed in August, by mid December the lights completely stopped working. Very disappointed, I really enjoyed them while they lasted. I also had to pay someone to install them. I was offered a refund for the lights. But now I’m out what i paid to install and do not have lights for the house. I expected better with this system. Complete let down.

I had been designing our light package for awhile now and finally decided on a 150' section, a 100' section, and a 50' section. While the mounting clips that came with the packages were somewhat ok, they left a lot to be desired. I ended up 3D printing a file for more secure clips, especially for use up in the higher parts that I really don't want to have to go back to. All said and done I'm really happy with the setup. Take your time, plan your routes, establish your dedicated electrical, and use different clips.

We Love our new permanent lights, we received them quicker than I thought we were going to get them and they're really easy to install! Our neighbor bought these just before Halloween, so we had to get them for our house too because putting up and taking down the Christmas lights every year really sucked! I highly recommend these lights because if you want bright lights, easy installation, and the ability to change the colors for any event or holiday, then these are what you want!!
