Frustrated

Tv shows are dark

The view is very dark on certain movies and tv shows. I have done all of the recommended fixes to no avail. Will not purchase this brand again.

Hi Frustrated, I’m sorry to hear you’re not fully satisfied with the DU7200 TV’s picture quality. You mentioned already trying adjusting some settings, however I am going to put a few suggestions below, in case you have not tried these specific ones. First, let’s ensure you are running the latest Firmware Update. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. Next, If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings. For darker scenes, I recommend Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic. Or you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings. You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings > All Settings> General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode. I hope this helps to improve your picture. NO MULTI VIEW, NOT HAPPY!!!

It's a great TV but it doesn't have the multi view option which had I known this it would have played a big part in my purchasing this model. It does not have any multi view or split screens option which is very disappointing. It has all these features but is missing this important one which would be great for sports fans as myself to watch multiple games at the same time. Would have been great on such a big screen!! :(( Also, the remote is horrible!! Why would you make the volume and channel buttons like this!

Great addition to our home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV was purchased to replace another Samsung TV we had for over 10 years. Excited to add it to our Master Bedroom area as the main focus piece in the room. With a 55" display, it can be seen from all areas in the room. We are very pleased with the picture and sound quality. Really like the new technology advacements that Samsung has put into their products. Now we can control the device with our smartphone. This is a great feature since we often get busy and forget to turn the unit off when leaving the room.

Never to old to learn

Not what I expected

I bought this DU7200 75 inch a couple weeks ago. All reviews were good is the reason I bought it. Didn't realize it is a very entry level TV. I can't connect my older Bose system to it or my new Bose sound bar because it doesn't have optical or rca connections. I did connect the sound bar via Bluetooth just to find out the sound does not sync with the picture. I even bought an audio converter only to find out it wouldn't work either. wish I had kept my older Samsung that worked perfectly. I just wanted a larger tv. Lesson learned on my part that what seems to be good is not always what you get.

Hi Never to old to learn, Thank you for purchasing the Samsung DU7200 TV. To address the audio delay, you may want to try the Audio Pass-Through feature. This feature allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external Soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external Soundbar or receiver then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay. To activate this feature, go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > set to Pass-Through. Picture Looks Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased TV as a Christmas gift. It is a 75 inch and fits perfectly in our living room. We couldn't be more happier with the picture quality. I have seen others comment about sound quality, but the sound is not a problem at all. I was looking at the LG, but I'm completely satisfied that I purchased the Samsung. Great price, picture and all of the above.

Very good buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very good choice for a television. Am very pleased with pic. quality ease of setup. Connected to WiFi very easy procedure. Love the Samsung channels built into their sets. I haven’t made it to the end of the list yet. I start scrolling to see how many channels their are and end up finding something to watch.
