We looked at many swing sets before we found this. The swing set my husband grew up with is still at his parents' home and our grandchildren now play on it. We wanted one like that---one that was built to last. This is the one; our grandchildren love it and even their parents get on it and swing or use the bars. It wasn't difficult to put together and it doesn't walk or bounce when in use. We plan to move it to a different spot this summer and don't anticipate any difficulty. We didn't need to cement it in--it is well balanced and heavy duty.

We purchased this set for our grandchildren almost 10 years ago. Our grandchildren love it. It's gotten a lot of use over those years and is still going strong. We replaced the bar with a baby swing for a while and that worked great. Going to replace that with a regular swing now so we have 3 regular swings. We always say "one of our best purchases".

Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. This is a great swing set. I was skeptical at first because you did not need to anchor it, but as long as it rests on level ground, it is perfect. I have an 8 year old and a 1 1/2 year old and they both love it. It looks great and is very sturdy even when the kids swing high!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for our then 5 year old son thinking we would get 2 or three years out of it. He is now 11 and still swings consistently and we have not had to do any of the wood maintenance that our neighbors have had to do on theirs.

Just assembled this afternoon. Took a couple hours. Very strong piece and well built. Have three kids swinging as I type and they’re loving it. Going to order the 3rd swing though. Would be nice to have that option at order. A couple notes: some of the tools required are not listed correctly. Most of the a-frame assembly requires a 5/8” ratchet/wrench, not the 9/16” mentioned. Use common sense, follow the well-written directions, and it’s a relatively simple build.

It came in a compact box with clear instructions-- my husband was able to put it together by himself in an afternoon. It's very sturdy and fits perfectly in our back yard. Love the size and sturdiness of this swing set. My grandchildren are getting bigger but still love to swing. I had a problem with rusted chains but customer service was great and took care of it.
