Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. This is a great swing set. I was skeptical at first because you did not need to anchor it, but as long as it rests on level ground, it is perfect. I have an 8 year old and a 1 1/2 year old and they both love it. It looks great and is very sturdy even when the kids swing high!

My husband and his brother put it together in about an hour (much easier than all the reviewers had indicated). We love it. Really. But it is terrifying to see our 4 yr old go sailing up so high. It seems higher than the playground swings, but maybe that's my imagination. Not sure if we can bury the legs, or take off the bottom bracket to make it shorter. We'll see. Hopeful our daughter learns to be safe and our 2yr old dd will too, eventually. Ugh. Maybe waiting another 2yrs would have been a good idea. We love the quality though.

My kids love it. Very durable. If I had to do it over I would have had someone help me put it together. Doing it alone was a bit tough but well worth it. A bit of advice: don't tighten the bolts until the very end. I learned this the hard way as it was hard to connect everything (but that was my mistake for not reading the directions all the way).

A great, sturdy, UNIT of a swing set! Our boys (6 and 9) love it. The earthtone colors really blend into our backyard... is it weird to say it's nice to look at?! It's worth every penny. Assembly is straightforward, but definitely watch the great YouTube assembly video (link is on the manual cover) provided by Lifetime a couple times (or watch it during assembly) for the best way to approach certain assembly steps. The BILT app is helpful too, but I found the YouTube video coupled with the paper instructions to be the most helpful. The packaging is extremely well done, all the components are wrapped in plastic and/or foam. The assembly hardware is boxed and bagged perfectly so you only have to worry about the components you actually need during each build step. You *WILL* need a second set of hands to help fit the swing bar into the A-frames and tip the swingset into position / move it around. You will also definitely need a ladder or a step stool to hang the swings. All of this is noted in the instructions. Assembly time is accurate, expect to spend at least an afternoon putting it together (I split it up over two days).

I wanted a swing set that would last for years, and I knew I had found it in this Lifetime set. My 9 grandchildren love playing on it, but so do my grown children! We have moved it around the yard easily, yet it never rocks or shakes at all, no matter who is in it or how high they are swinging. It holds up to the weather and still looks fabulous. It is a high-quality, well-made set, and I am so happy I made the purchase! It was not difficult to put together, which was yet another great plus!

My tall 7 year old and 5 year old love this swing set. We didn't want anything too large and since they are getting older, we wanted something they wouldn't outgrow too quickly. The trapeze bar is really fun too. My husband and I put it together and we did have trouble with the final few steps lining it up but we figured it out. There is a helpful youtube video that we referenced. This was our best "pandemic" purchase to get the kids out and playing and perfect for little breaks throughout the day without having to walk to to the park. I love the colors and also that we don't have to worry about restaining a wood set or bees. I wish Lifetime sold mats to put under the swings since our grass has worn out and it would just look nicer. In the future, we plan to switch out to a spider swing to change it up a bit.

We purchased this many years ago for daily use at a small school; and it is still going strong. It was fairly simple to assemble, although it takes a bit of time. Do yourself a favor and install and anchor the feet on a flat unyielding surface, otherwise the swing rocks and the feet get buried. Also keep the chains oiled to prevent rust, and apply sun protection to rubber seats and handles so they don't get brittle. This swing set is made to last and it does! And customer service (in our case Heidi) is great. They stand behind their products and sales claims. Buy this swing; you won't regret it.

For two months, my two kids enjoy it. There are lots of good things other reviewers noted. One small complaint is that the length of chain is slightly shorter than usual swings, so 1. it does not take use of full benefit of 10 feet height, and 2. my 5 yrs old daughter can not sit by her self.

I bought this 5 months ago for two children age 6 & 7, or should I say the entire family as dad and myself enjoy swinging on it as well. The quality and value far exceeded my expectations. No concrete needed is a plus! Still looks as good as the first day so far no paint discoloration. The set sits in direct sunlight and shows no signs of wear. Great Product

My 15 and 10 year old daughters wanted a swing set and the small ones you get from Walmart weren't going to cut it. So I found this online and knew it would be perfect. I don't use the trapeze bar ~ instead I hung a baby swing from there for my 2 year old grandbaby.  The biggest problem with assembly was the metal sleeves that are suppose to slide into the pendulum. No way. The sleeve was too big for the pendulum. I went back online and saw someone else had the same problem. He said he got his in with a bench vice. We didn't have one of those so I ended up carving out some of the plastic out of the pendulum, coat the sleeve with WD40, and then my husband hammered the sleeves into the pendulum. That was the longest part of the assembly.  Also when it comes time to put the cross bar onto the A-frame, you have to lay on the ground to see if the holes are lined up and the screw is coming through. It wasn't easy. We thought we were going to have a problem putting it upright, but that was a breeze. All in all, it took us a little over 4 hours for my husband and I to put it together.  The kids love it! My 15 year old complains that the swing is tight on her hips, but then she has full hips and it's not meant for hips that size. After she swings for a while, she gets use to it. I am twice her size and it was fine with me! Highly recommend if you have bigger kids and you don't want all the other stuff that comes with the smaller swing sets.
