So far so good!!! We are impressed with this tv! The hardest part of the set up was the wall mount, which had nothing to do with the tv as we purchased a 360 degree mount separately from a different store. This tv was simple to set up. The Roku is included with the tv, so we did not have to purchase something separate to plug into it. I love the sleep timer function as this tv is being used in a child’s bedroom. Crystal clear picture. Remote is easy to use. Perfect size for our bedroom setup.

Great picture and light weight.

Remember when a 32" TV weighed 90lbs? Now it's 5lbs and a much better picture! I'm using the HDMI and optical interface. Works nice. Combine it with a soundbar and this little wonder blows you away. You can watch this at 5' distance or an 84" version at 12'. The price is great for a high-dpi picture.

Great Little Bedroom TV

My bedroom TV I had for years finally bit the dust. I was looking for a Roku ready TV & found this little beauty at Sam's at a great price! Love the sleep timer and that I can finally control the TV & Roku with one remote. The picture is great, but the sound quality could be better. Not going to complain for the price and where it's been used, but if this was going to be used as a main TV, it would def need a soundbar.

When I decided to purchase this Phillips 32 inch Roku TV, I was confronted with whether this item was ONLY available online. So after ordering it, a was directed to pick up the order after 7 p.m. I showed up at 7:45 p.m. I followed the procedure, yet was ignored and the store was about to CLOSE. After a bit of an argument, I was given the item I ordered and paid for. I then asked if I could have gone into the store and bought it directly. I was told YES. Do not bother ordering the item ONLINE. BETTER to purchase it in PERSON.

This Philips 32” was on sale, inexpensive and now I know why. The picture quality is marginal, but the sound is horrific. It sounds like a miniature radio. The processor also appears to have issues. On occasion it will sequence through and I have to turn it off to allow it to reboot. You get what you pay for

Poor Picture Quality-Poor Channel Choosing Feature

Returned. We have 10 year old TVs with better picture quality. Roku didn't allow to punch in channel numbers for our antenna channels, and no standard "go-back" and info features. Just an excessively long scrolling channel search.

Washed out colors

I knew the 1080p resolution wasn’t going to be the best, but I was shocked by the dull, washed-out, colors. All color in every video and still screen looks like it has a translucent film over it. I’ll play around with the video settings, but I shouldn’t have to, to this degree, on a brand new TV. While I’m familiar with Roku streaming devices, this is my first, AND LAST, Roku TV. The ad-laden Home Screen is too much for me, and from what I hear, it’s going to get worse with video and audio added to banner ads, and Roku ads invading your screen when you pause a movie played from your own DVD/Blu-Ray player. It’s diabolical, and I will not support Roku any longer because of it. Mostly, I needed something cheap and simple for the guest room when my mum stays over. This will do because she’s already familiar with Roku and has very low standards. I wouldn’t buy it again and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Good luck if you need customer service

Remote would not work properly. Called Phillips customer service and spent what seemed like hours on the phone over the course of two days. Absolutely zero help towards a resolution. The rep had no idea what she was talking about. She refused to let me speak to a supervisor or another rep who may know the product since she had no clue. Instead of simply sending a new remote, they wanted pictures of the tv, receipt and serial #. Sent the pics which they said they couldn’t accept. Resent the pics and they rejected one of them. I called again and was told that the pics had to be sent from a desktop computer. In other words, they were just giving me the runaround. I finally threw in the towel and returned the tv.
