Remember when a 32" TV weighed 90lbs? Now it's 5lbs and a much better picture! I'm using the HDMI and optical interface. Works nice. Combine it with a soundbar and this little wonder blows you away. You can watch this at 5' distance or an 84" version at 12'. The price is great for a high-dpi picture.

My bedroom TV I had for years finally bit the dust. I was looking for a Roku ready TV & found this little beauty at Sam's at a great price! Love the sleep timer and that I can finally control the TV & Roku with one remote. The picture is great, but the sound quality could be better. Not going to complain for the price and where it's been used, but if this was going to be used as a main TV, it would def need a soundbar.

I purchased this TV to use as a computer monitor and all I can say is NO. there are 3 TV monitors connected to my computer. 2 are VIZIO and this to replace a busted 3rd VIZIO. This TV cannot reach the brightness of the VIZIO. My eyes were really straining because once I shift my view to this Phillips, my eyes have to adjust. I even went as far as to lower the settings of my VIZIO to match the Philipps but it just could not work. I will be returning this TV and will wait for the 32 inch Vizio to go on sale.

Should have bought something else, without ROKU. The TV itself is OK, full HD image which is why we bought it, because many small ones have 720p, but it is ridiculously hampered by the ROKU OS and ROKU Remote. Setup was OK, it had a software update, did require an online account, and opting out of viewer tracking and skipping many trial offers. Why I am returning this TV: A TV should in my opinion start back up to a default or last viewed regular TV channel. There is no option for that. And it should have a TV remote that has functions like inputs, numbers for channels, volume, etc. Not this one apparently, you get the limited Roku remote with some volume buttons on the side ... which is fine for YouTube, Netflix etc, but falls short for old fashioned TV viewing. This TV defaults to a Home Screen where you need to click twice for Live TV, which then gives you a channel guide pre-loaded to digital channel 115 ABC, and then you have to channel up / down ... good luck switching without a number pad. Now there is hidden setup function on the live tv input screen, to turn all digital channels off, but it does not work. What does work, is to turn digital channels off one by one, but do you want to go through 115 - 1111 channels??? So, without any redeeming factors, this one goes back to the store. I should have thought more about what it means to be a ROKU TV ... and be stuck with a ROKU remote. If you are needing a TV for the digital stuff with Youtube, Netflix, etc I am sure that can be fine. [ I took some photos, but the add images and product ratings sections don't respond ]

I just got this Phillips TV hooked up, and going. The set up is easy, just follow the prompts. The picture is crisp with bright colors, and the sound is clear (Mine is hooked up to a sound bar). Also, the ROKU streaming feature works well. For 139 bucks, and Uncle Sam's cut it can't be beat. It also comes with an in store (membership) 3 year warranty. Heck if it only last 3 years you've got your moneys worth. If you're looking for a good, inexpensive small TV, give it a try. I don't think you will be dissapointed.

We were looking to find a smaller TV for our Florida room at a good price and this fit the need wonderfully!! Set-up was a breeze and we are more than satisfied with every aspect of this model. And besides all of this it was also on sale! Thanks Philips and Sam's Club!!
