Has been a great razor, has a good weight when held in hand. Nice solid build of stainless steel. Great for all types of hair. Plenty of different sized attachments and everything is relatively easy to clean, even easier to swap attachments.

Even though there has been significant improvement in the product with the battery life and waterproof technology from the earlier counterparts, there needs to be improvement in the trimming technology as well. Granted that with this product several attachments are given but the hair trimming stays the same way as hair goes everywhere and caught up in the machine itself, gets harder to clean the machine. The attachments given are a plus with the wide and narrow blades. But the body grooming add-ons are not effective as you do get nicks and cuts with it even with the protective guard on. The guards are all there but those could be reduced with the same technology used to combine the guards from 2mm -7mm with a single one. It is a good trimmer provides significant battery life and multiple add-ons, but it sure needs improvement in the actual triiming technology.

Awkward power button location causes me to often turn it on and off when I don't want to. It claims to have an option to prevent it powering on in a suitcase (very little pressure on the switch is needed to turn on), but I've not found how to use that yet so I'm planning to being the charger on my next trip. When using the clipper bare, to clip close to the skin, there doesn't seem to be any danger of cutting my skin (this is good), but this also means it does not cut real close. It's a fair trade off. When powering on, it sounds underpowered, but ultimately seems to do the job just fine. The packaging is horribly oversized. You could probably fit 4 clippers in the box it comes in - I suspect this is requested by Sams Club of the manufacturer, Philips.

[Employee of philipsglobal] Too many attachments...hard to get the head off. Register process impossible. Can't read the serial number with a magnifying glass. Please don't do this to your customers. If we could get rid of Covid, our barber could do the work...and eliminate this disaster. What about those who don't have iPhones? Videos? Photos? Really.

Holding about a 5-10min charge. Not hours as claimed. And the unit runs at what sounds like 1/2 speed after about 60 sec of use. Obviously defective battery. Large on/off button is directly over where one would hold the unit while using it. Have 'accidently' turned unit off dozens of times while using it. Couldn't make a dumber on/off switch if you tried.

Not reliable or durable at all - the trimmer stopped working after 9 months and I had to get a replacement. Also the placement and size of the power button is so extremely annoying - it keeps turning on while using it because the button is so big and placed where your fingers naturally hold the trimmer.

The main unit is good quality but the trimming accessory pieces are not marked/identified insofar as what each piece is used for. Obviously I know what the nose/ear trimmer and razor is but none of the trimming pieces are marked/identified ie. beard trimmer or hair trimmer. One has to guess or through trial and error to find which trimmer does what.

Overall, the trimmer is smooth and quiet. The body trimmer attachment is better than all competitors by a mile. From ungroomed to super short in less than 5 minutes (chest to test lol), no cuts no pinching, long scraggly hair just falls off. Nips didn't cut, sesame seeds didn't either. It does all other trimming well, but the body trimmer is the reason you get this kit. The storage case is nice too.
