This is a very high quality product. I used it four times to trim my hair. The start stop switch is located in a position and sensitivity that it gets triggered causing it to stop when you are reaching back or side of your hair. You don't have this problem with beard as you have good control of the trimmer and starts stop switch.

The only problem I have with this product is the on off switch. Would of been, in my opinion better to have it out of the way. I find I hit the switch often when using the shaver. Other then that quite happy with the battery life and the quality of it.

I have been looking for an easy-to-use electric shaver that provides the perfect stubble/5 o'clock shadow look for a few years. After buying and returning several shavers (some expensive and some cheap), I finally took a chance on this Philips/Norelco. It's perfect!. There are two stubble attachments and both are great. Many other shavers out there are either too long (i,e, beard length) or too short (i.e. close shave). It came with are many other attachments, too, for body hair, side burns, eye brows, beards, et al. I have yet to try them but I'm sure they work just as well. Clean up is a breeze as you simply run it under running water battery charging is fast and lasts for several shaves. Happy customer!

This product works OK but in my opinion falls far short of its potential due to 1) a misplaced power button which it seems must be continually turned off while maneuvering the trimmer in use (this frustrates me to no end) and 2) a far too limited selection of hair-cutting attachments. I can live without many of the body grooming attachments but I am missing a broader range of attachments for use in providing a proper haircut.

Overall feel of the trimmer is good, but does have some flaws: 1. The body trimmer doesn't work very well, not at all a close trim. I have a very old Philips trimmer, and it works like a charm and provide much better results. 2. The awkward placement of the on/off button, and how sensitive it is. 3. The comb sizes are wrong or at all completely different from universal comb sizes. I usually use 3mm and 5mm comb for my beard, but when I did the same with 7000, it trimmed way more than expected. And I checked with couple other people who had purchased the same trimmer and they have similar opinions. Overall not impressed.

The unit works well enough - the heads are easy to change, easy to clean. The one area that needs improvement for sure is the placement of the on/off button. it's nearly impossible to use this without turning it off. When you wrap your hand around it to hold on to it (and you need to as it's not light), you always hit the sensitive on/off button. other than that, it works

Overall I loved the product specially the battery life after one full charge is incredible. I am really impressed by the power. The only problem that I could figure out is the blades are too sharp, I end up getting cuts and nics every time I trim. Philips should do something about it otherwise a great product. I do recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement for the trimmer that I had for nearly 20 years. It is much more advanced than the old one. It has USB charging (you supply the charger).It has 19 attachments for trimming. The last one had 4. This one has two cutter heads, large and small, with attachments for each. It makes it very confusing figuring out which one to use. The old one had one adjustable comb which I used to trim my beard, mustache and eyebrows. There is one comb for eyebrows, which fits the small cutter head. For trimming my beard, I need the large trimming head with a comb, all of which are marked in millimeters. Through trial and error, I finally figuredout which one to use.

Great product which could use some better directions on the purpose of each accessory. It was purchased on sale but Sam's Club charged sales tax on the full retail price, not the price paid. I can't believe their order processing system made such a mistake.

the only thing that I would like this to improve is have a power lock, I find that when I go travel and put this in a soft bag, since the power switch do not has any lock, it turn on and run out of battery completely, I have to find some way to protect this.
