cake was great

First time ever purchasing a bakery cake from Sam’s, was hoping it would be great like everything else I’ve tried from the bakery. I was sadly disappointed as was everyone else at the party. Visually, there were many wrinkles in the design. Instead of saying Happy 9th Birthday it said Happy 9h Birthday. My son didn’t really notice and was still excited for cake and ice cream! The cake was barely edible. It definitely didn’t taste like cake. The icing wasn’t great but the only thing that made the actual cake bearable. A few bites in and everyone was done! Didn’t even cut a quarter of the cake. Such a huge waste! Not sure if this was just a one off or what because I see many great reviews. I’ve tried to upload pics but seems to be an issue.

Slapped on the design so it was wonky and overlapping, and had to post it not stuck to the top saying no cake toppers. So pretty much looks like garbage. Luckily, my kids didn’t mind given I put candles on it put pay an extra to get a design on it socks when it’s done so poorly.

We ordered the Mail redraft sheet cake and when we picked it up, the two printed sheets weren’t lined up, the left sheet had a ripple down half of it and the right side had a few bubbles. We asked them to fix it and they were able to adjust them. However, the grass n the picture online is neat around the inside edge, but for ours it is a sloppy draping of green. I’m pretty dissapointed.

The cake was amazing. it tasted good, they had like small toys on top of the cake, it was good size. I bake so I know a good cake from not a very good one. This was a good cake! It also looked like it is an expensive one. which it really wasnt! I highly recommend buying it. I also bought the Minecraft 30 cupcakes, the kids went crazy for it and they were picking the cupcakes based on the ring toy on top of it.

Cake was exactly like the photo. It looked & tasted great. My child & his friends were very excited to see it at his birthday party.

Delicious cake (marble). Great decorations. Would definitely order from Sam’s club again for a large event. Ready when promised.

Awesome price! Nice size, and this was only a half sheet cake! Always good cake. Moist. Awesome all around, especially on a budget.
