Of course we couldn't wait for family help to assemble so my husband did the whole thing himself in the 90 degree heat. I helped hold things occasionally but it wasn't usually essential. It took about 12-15 hours I'd say and the directions are pretty good. Very sturdy even with very high swinging and adults playing, too.

Had my mother and law and me on top while putting the roof on and didn't see any issue with that much weight. Doesn't move at all when kids swing.

We bought this playset in 2018 for our grandchildren. It was a lifesaver during the pandemic when schools and local playgrounds were closed. We live in AZ and get monthly lawn irrigation that rusted a couple parts. Lifetime rep. Heidi was an incredible help facilitating a couple replacement parts. This product is VERY well made and worth every penny!

Really nice, solid playset. My three-year-old was ecstatic to see it and can't get enough of it. We've had it up for 10 weeks and so far we haven't noticed any rust or problems. The swings are especially smooth and quiet. It arrived in a giant crate, earlier than expected. All of the required parts and hardware were present and in good shape. The only tools I think I used were a socket wrench and a drill. Big thing to know; it is time consuming and a little painful to assemble. The instructions are 70 or 80 pages long. I think I spent close to 20 hours on it (I understand that is still probably less effort than needed to assemble a wooden set). But, I was working mostly alone. Also, try hard to resist over tightening the bolts. I wanted to make it really snug and tight. But, sometimes the pipes would bend slightly out of round. I called Lifetime on the phone before I purchased and got good advice on which set would suit my needs and some technical specifics that weren't on the website. Plus, I was given a 10% military discount. Two thumbs up on the purchase experience so far.

I bought this because of all of the features included, the durability of other Lifetime products we own, and because it looks like a quality set that my kids will enjoy for years to come. I only rated 4 stars because we were missing a part (not essential to structural integrity). Customer service has been amazing, though, on initially communicating a production delay, then on assisting us with delivery issues, and finally on getting us the replacements for the missing parts. It took about 10 hours for my husband and I to put together. The kids couldn't wait to get on it!

We love this swing set. It took the two of us two full days to complete assembely. Somehow we had four of the wrong screws when assembeling the roof but had our own bolts that worked great. We did have to drill through some of the holes to get them to line up perfectly to get the bolt and the nut to screw together inside the metal poles. It is very sturdy. The pieces were hot to the touch when they were in the boxes in the sun but once assembled, it is not hot to the touch. I would highly recommed this set if you have the room for it.

the instructions aree good and were easy to follow... there are many fasteners. this is a good thing in the end, the unit is very strong and stable. total assembly time was about 5 hours easy working. there are a few places, the swing horizontal pole and "a frame" required two people as did the roof assembly. the second person was required for about 30 minutes. all in all, the kids love it and it feels as if it is sturdy and will last.

I searched the internet for hours to see what was available and we are so happy that we decided on this playset to get for our kids! It is well made, sturdy, and stable. The coloring is nice. I am grateful it is made out of plastic so that I do not have to worry about staining, slivers, rotting, or other maintenance that comes with buying wooden sets. The slide is fast and a fun challenge for my younger kids to climb up. The quality shows, but I am particularly happy with the swings material and craftmenship. My kids play on this for hours at a time. The shipping was several weeks faster than initially stated, they called to confirm delivery time and date, and were professional. It took my husband and my father 8.5 hours to put it together. My husband said the instructions are a little vague in certain spots, but not confusing. The parts come in boxes, well packaged inside, and are organized. Well worth the buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is a beast to put together. Make sure you have a ton of time to put this together if you are going to do it yourself. If you have the money to have it put together by professionals I would recommend going that route and saving the stress that is caused by this for something more important. Instructions are clear and the playset is awesome. My 6yr old loves it and uses it everyday its not raining.

Excellent quality, sturdy, and the kids love it! Beware it did take 2-3 adults about 12 hours to build and it turned out we were missing 4 screws, but the final product was definitely worth it! Perfect size for 4-6 year olds with the option to grow into it.
