I have used Morton Salt for too many years to count, and I have never had a problem with chunking or bridging in whatever softener brand I used. I like that this bag has four more pounds than the 40 pound bags I see elsewhere, yet the price is the same or slightly less than elsewhere.

Excellent price! Love the curbside service! I only have one negative thing to say... these bags of salt weigh 44 lbs. each and I purchased 6 bags. Why on earth would you send a young lady out to load these bags in my car? Of course I couldn't just sit in my car and watch her load them by herself so I got out and helped her. And then she couldn't accept at tip! I'm 63 years old and she looked to be in her early 20's. We are not supposed to be lifting heavy items like that! I ended up with hemorrhoids and I pray that her womb is still in tact.

We have been using this product for tears in our water conditioner. We have hard water & this salt softens the water. Our water also has as sulfer taste if we don't use this salt. With it, our water tastes great. We use less shampoo to wash our hair, too.

Needed item in our house. I choose Sams not because if the price. Its close to our local Walmart price for this item. I buy it at sams because its kept indoors. Our local walmart is only other option and its kept outside where it does get moisture exposure.

This was the first time I used the curbside pick up option. Since I was ordering 220 pounds of salt, I didn't want to put them in a cart and try to navigate to the front of the store with the weight of a human being in the basket. So, I went online, placed and paid for my order and received a text message that said, "If you received this, press R". Simple enough. I then received instructions that when I arrived at the club at a time I had chosen during the payment part, I should text "A". That simple. I arrived. Texted "A" and one of the associates came out with a cart filled with the salt. He placed them in my car's trunk and I was on my way. So much more simple than any other way, I won't be going back to them. As for the salt itself, I have been using Morton's since 1984 and it has never let me down. Clean and easily dissolving pellets that keep your water softner running for years and years. This experience at Sam's Club is why I shop there - it was outstanding.

We've been using Morton Clean and Protect Water Softener Pellets for over 40 years, in the same water softener! I really does clean and protect. We've tried other brands when Morton was not available; but, none made our water feel better than Morton's.

The Morton clean and protect Water Softener Pellets are a perfect match for our water softener. The 44 lb. bags are quite heavy but I am able to manage pouring them into the softener after I use a scoop to lighten the bag. Thank goodness the bag has a nice handle on it to move it from my car to the basement.

Although Sonic offers Coke for 1\2 price, Sam's price on the 35 cans is still the cheapest and allows for 12 servings of the same size and no trip to make other than to the refridgerator. So far, Sam's wins! As for the salt, it is cheaper by far at Sam's, so I buy the coke and the salt at the same time, by pre-call. Sam's will bring it to the car and even put them in the trunk. Can't beat that!

This is supposed to be cleaner salt and better for your water softener. It does appear to be very clean. Have been using it for years and it does a fine job. Our water hardness is 18. Would have given another star but the bags sometimes have small holes.

Ordered for outside pickup; but the bags had holes and leaked.
