I have bought this product several times recently the Quality has been very bad the pellets are over sized and grey they are dirty causing my tank to have buildup in it.I hope this does not mess up my water softener . How does a person clean that dirt out of the softener.

The last several months the quality on these have dropped. They have been dirty more broken up and leaving dirt stains in my brine tank. I’m going to find another brand or type. This has become a major issue. I thought I just had a bad batch last time but this is an ongoing issue.

This salt was dirty and the crystals were slow to dissolve. I tried to dissolve several pounds of salt in a plastic pan. The surface of the water in the pan developed a brown scum. After dumping 19 pounds of salt into the pool there were 24 black rice size rocks (?) on the bottom of the pool. I will be returning the remaining 25 pounds and requesting a refund - after I vacuum the black rocks of the pool bottom.

Need lighter bags, works well in water softener. Not messy but difficult to manage 40 pound bags
