Sam's has been our sole source for this salt for years...usually the salt is bright white...great price and no issues.  It was visibly dirty or contaminated with other minerals this past order...it turned the brine tank water brown when I loaded the salt.

Morton Clean and Protect Water Softener pellets have worked great in my home softener. The large pellets make it easier to fill the softener, and the bag can be easily opened at a corner, where the edge tears off, creating an ideal way to pour the salt out.
