I’ve had this tv for a couple of months and haven’t been able to get the picture adjusted and have tried everything all the online help from Samsung every YouTube video. The live picture is “ok” but video is not clear and older videos are really blurry. The picture is nowhere near as good as the 9 year old Vizio M that this one replaced perhaps I will pay a professional to come to my home and adjust the picture

It is usually the focal point during sport events even though we have another 55” tv for dual viewing of different events. The picture is absolutely great! The ease of operation and speed is many times greater than the tv it replaced. Stress level has gone away bringing it up and getting the show we want! Thank you Samsung!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Q80D is a very good general-purpose TV. Its standout features are its impressive SDR peak brightness combined with the TV's decent reflection handling; this makes the TV quite good in any bright room scenario, from watching TV shows or sports, using the TV as a PC monitor, or playing video games. It's also a great choice to watch HDR content in dark rooms due to its fantastic contrast and good HDR brightness; HDR content is impactful on this TV. For gamers, the TV has 4k @ 120Hz support and incredibly low input lag, although its response time isn't quite good enough for a truly responsive gaming experience when playing fast-moving games.

I've had this TV now for approx. 5 months. Overall happy with the TV but it has a few shortcomings that should not be. On the good side the picture quality is excellent especially for a midrange model. Sound is good although I don't use the built-in speakers. The compact remote is excellent, I have not missed having a full size remote at all. The OS is reasonably quick and, so far, has had every app I've needed. The OS is where this falls off a bit, for some reason someone thought it would be a good idea to not have a search feature for apps - whomever that was should be let go. Secondly, the text input is unlike... every other text interface on the planet. It does not have a simple delete feature and no tab key. These oversights are inexcusable in what is otherwise a very good TV.

The clarity makes you feel as if you're a part of the cast of your favorite shows. Since i have a Samsung phone, set up was super easy. All my apps were sticky installed and digging into my streaming services was very easy. The live TV is reminiscent of tubi or Pluto tv amc you don't have to access the apps to get to your favorite binge channel. 10 out of 10 for this tv. My only regret is not getting a bigger size. 😆

I bought this tv around Black Friday and very pleased with my purchase! The color and clarity is exceptional!!! Love the speakers! They act like surround sound by themselves without a sound bar or subwoofer! Excellent price!!!! Would highly recommend to others to snatch this tv when available!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a reliable but old 1080p LED TV with the Q80D. Love the look of this TV! The blacks are well defined, and the colors are vibrant and really pop. Just watched a new 4k disc of Superman and it's the best I've ever seen the movie look. The OS is pretty nice, though I did have a bit of a tough time finding the app section. Pleasantly surprised at the number of different video formats it plays on its own from a hard drive. I have a large collection of digital movies and was able to plug a 5tb hard drive into the USB port and play directly from it. Some older .avi files would not play but the newer .mkv and .mp4 files played without a problem, even the newest HEVC files. It has a wider range of capabilities than the 4k player I bought which is nice! Streaming apps available work fine, it streams smoothly. My only quibble with the OS aside from a bit of trouble finding the apps section is that once it starts auto playing the live TV app at startup, it's very difficult to stop it from doing so. I eventually uninstalled Samsung Live TV entirely to get it to stop auto playing at startup or when going into the list of attached devices, after more than a half hour of searching for other ways. Had it been easy to turn off all auto play features throughout the TV I might have given a five star review. Also did not like having to turn off the AI features manually. Don't need any of that, it just makes the TV look worse, faker. But all in all, very pleased with the purchase.

Sound quality is ok. We use a Samsung sound bar but do not like that the TV won't default to the sound bar and that you have to connect it every time you turn the TV on. We love the remote feature on our phones too. It was easy to hang up and set up for all our streaming services was easy too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good quality picture and sound from the TV is good also I did get a sound bar to go with it the q-symphonony sounds wrong on some platforms so I just shut it off and the main screen is a but much it would be nice if it could be modified more to get rid of more of the extra stuff I never use
