Defective TV

Bought this a few day ago coming from LG plasma 60 inch using a Roku and Hulu+Live for watching TV. I cannot get a consistent picture using the LG website. Went thru and checked power, internet speed, set up and setting multiple times and tried LG support which was worthless. Finally put my old Roku thru hdmi port to control and TV works fine. Probably Going returning because I didnt pay for just a monitor, either this TV is defective or webos is terrible.

Not impressed

We've had the TV for 4 days now and we're not impressed. I'm considering returning it within the 30 days. 1st - the smart tv / app menus are not user friendly. It has an old TV look to it, it doesn't look and feel like a new TV. I was a bit surprised during setup that it focused heavily on setting up cable first. This is definitely a cable designed TV first with the smart options being secondary. 2nd - we ran the updated when hooking it up. It's updated every single day when we've turned it on. It's a nuisance. 3rd - the remote is a monstrosity with a million buttons. It really is meant to be a TV with cable or satellite first, smart TV second. 4th - navigating through the menus is slow! We have very fast internet and everything from turning the TV on, off & navigating the menus is slow. Prob the constant updates.

Wonderful features

I bought this TV to replace the one in my living room so I could move my oldLG tv to Mt man cave, the new one has great color, the only thing that I am not crazy about is when I turn the new one on I have to hit the TV button then the input button twice then the sat button,I have a dish TV remote,is that normal, other than that it's a great TV...

Hi Scott, thank you for sharing your thoughts on the LG 65" UHD 4K TV with webOS 24 (65UT7550AUA). We’re glad to hear the great color and overall performance are making it a strong upgrade for your living room. Regarding the extra steps with your DISH remote — that usually means the remote isn’t fully programmed to control the TV’s power and inputs directly. Once paired correctly, you shouldn’t need to press multiple buttons each time. You can also enable SIMPLINK (HDMI‑CEC) in the TV settings to help your connected devices work together more smoothly. Great Picture!

Picture is fantastic. I don't know how you do it, but the picture has more depth than I ever experienced on a TV. In a scene it seems you can actually see/feel the distances to objects in the background. Thing I don't like - the setup is not too intuitive. It took a lot of time to get colors, sharpness, etc. the way I wanted.

Do not recommend

I'm very unhappy with this TV, the picture is fine, but the system is incredibly slow. Support suggested to restart it. But it's still painfully slow. I also purchased a LG sound bar and it's like they never thought about how they work together as a system. Lastly, the remote is one of the worst I've ever used.

Center piece of our Entertainment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it was an excellent choice. The variety of channels and accompanying apps makes this a smorgasbord of entertainment viewing. WiFi connection was easy to setup and streaming is flawless.

Great picture!

We bought the 65" tv almost two weeks ago to replace our 10 year old 50" LG tv. So far, so good! We are very happy with the features, color, picture clarity.
