The green beans were on the verge of being slimy. Of course it was too far to make a special trip to return them. They ended up in the garbage.

Haven’t been able to find a decent pack this season. I finally chose ONE I thought looked OK but they were slimy in two days. These have been going bad so quick. I use to purchase their green beans regularly before they changed brands. This new brand is horrible. They only last like two days. If I don’t use them, I’ll have to throw them away. I am not buying these from Sam’s anymore.

We LOVE these organic green beans!!!! I almost took a star off for consistency….. but we want them to keep carrying it. We are always super careful to inspect the bags before purchasing. About one third of the time, the green beans seem slimey and we do not purchase. Other times it looks like the machine struggled to cut the ends. We just recut them at home and rewash before using. Flavor is great and we love the organic option as green beans are usually on the dirty dozen list.

I had this bag for less than a week and it went bad. There was a horrible smell coming from my fridge and when I sniffed out the issue I was surprised to know that it was my green beans. I opened it the day I bought it and poured out a little to cook that day. By the 4-5th day the bag had mushy beans and water (which I didn’t put in the bag) settled on the bottom. It was a waste of money for me.

According to the date on the package this bag of green beans should have lasted a week; however, when I prepared them 2 days after purchasing, the ends were a brownish color. They tasted good, but after the 4th day, and cooking the remaining green beans, many of them went bad. I was probably able to eat about a third of them. If you’re going to cook the entire bag within a couple days of purchasing, I would recommend, however, if you’re not planning to cook them for a few days, I would suggest steering clear.

Packaging does not have holes to allow excess moisture to escape which results in the beans spoiling in short order. Several times the beans have been slimy and spoiling when a package was first opened. Didn't have this problem with the smaller, flavorful French style beans that have apparently been discontinued.

These green beans have the best flavor of any store-bought green bean I've ever cooked. They were equal to fresh green beans from my garden. They were beautiful, unblemished, crisp and fresh just like they had been picked from the garden that morning. They are now my favorite fresh green beans to purchase and cook at home.

4earth farms green beans looked great but were absolutely horrible! Stir fry green bean chicken that should have been crisp tender but only about 1/4 or less actually were.... the others couldn't even be cut with fork. They were hard like rubber. Removed green beans from dish and tried to continue to cook too soften... but they didn't soften at all. Added water to them and boiled them for 20 minutes and could only get through the tough skin of green bean by totally squishing the green bean and they still wouldn't cut through the bottom part with a fork. I have never had green beans ever be like this! Also... they were obviously from different bushes because after being cooked some were brite green... some pale green...and some went to a dull army green. Never have I seen this! We dumped these whole mea in the trash! Sam's club... please bring back the other brand that you carried before. They were the best!

What's happened to SC produce? The last two times I've bought fresh green beans I've only been able to use half of them because so many in the pkg were turning black already and some felt slimy. Both were pickup orders so will have to go in now %26 choose whether to buy or not. Is it possible that whoever pulled my orders doesn't realize that fresh produce shouldn't sit outside fridge till picked up? Have previously LOVED getting fresh produce from SC. But now have to beware of having SC staff pick fresh produce for me. Also had terrible experience with bag of onions that were already rotting when I got home with them. We live an hour away so can't just run back to store %26 get them exchanged….. And we always put items that need it in cold storage bags or chest
