When the beans are fresh they are delicious, but many times I have gotten them when they have been sitting in the produce area too long and are stringy and spoil quickly.

Cooked these quickly after purchasing and they were really good. Not sure how long they would’ve lasted in the refrigerator if we hadn’t cooked them. You have to check the dates to make sure that the date isn’t close and they haven’t been sitting on the shelf for weeks.

Delivered rotten

All the green beans had a funky taste and smell to it. I had stored it in the freezer and used it for preparation within a week after putchase and still these smelled. This is the 2nd time this has happened over a wide period of time between the 2 purchases. It is evident that they mix old and new, clean and messy green benas together in the same bag. That is what i believe creates the bad smell along with the hot and cold climate changes during shipping, prepping for storage at factory and store and then freezing the thawed product again. The bags have air filled in them other than that during packaging, which is the beans releasing gases as they age. Not worth the organic hype. Quality control standards are not there.

These are good, however be aware that the ends of many are not snipped. You have to do that yourself if you care to.

Very fresh and crunchy when baked

Wish that Sam’s in Beaumont had more organic items. There are very few fruits and vegetables that are organic in the store, but the green beans come in a giant bag and are a great value and they’re organic.!

While this bag of green beans seemed pretty fresh, it did include some pretty old beans and some really tough beans. The quality wasn't very uniform. Perhaps 20% were unacceptable for my catering dish

So so. They got soft too fast.
