So so. They got soft too fast.

While this bag of green beans seemed pretty fresh, it did include some pretty old beans and some really tough beans. The quality wasn't very uniform. Perhaps 20% were unacceptable for my catering dish

They don’t stay fresh long. After a day or two in my refrigerator, unopened, they started to get weird. After I opened them, I found the ok ones. You have to snap all the ends which is annoying. I like green beans that are ready to cook.

All the green beans had a funky taste and smell to it. I had stored it in the freezer and used it for preparation within a week after putchase and still these smelled. This is the 2nd time this has happened over a wide period of time between the 2 purchases. It is evident that they mix old and new, clean and messy green benas together in the same bag. That is what i believe creates the bad smell along with the hot and cold climate changes during shipping, prepping for storage at factory and store and then freezing the thawed product again. The bags have air filled in them other than that during packaging, which is the beans releasing gases as they age. Not worth the organic hype. Quality control standards are not there.

Something happened with my green beans. I purchased two bags. Same date. Same expiration date. But one of the bags felt different two days later. I trimmed them and prepared them anyway, but the bag that seemed flatter, cooked up brown, instead of green, and smelled fermented. I prepared both bags on the same day, purchased them both at the same time, but there was a clear difference in their smell, taste, and color once they were prepared.
