We bought this item based on a recommendation from a friend. They have a larger size, however, this is the perfect addition to our backyard. We love the architectural design, ease of assembly, sturdiness, and believe it is a great value for the money. We can enjoy a quiet evening as a couple, have friends over for drinks, and hang out with our growing family. The pitched roof and power port are awesome features. I’m so glad we purchased the Arcadia Gazebo, I have xeroderma pigmentosum , which means I'm extremely sensitive to UV rays but I’m also an avid bird watcher. I waited until night to avoid the sun, set up multiple flood lights to my neighbors displeasure and finished construction before sunrise. The Pergola is a perfect addition to my backyard , I’m able to venture outside during the daylight hours with my Bird watching binoculars and feel safe. I’ve even caught a glimpse of the elusive spotted redshank in the trees behind my house. Prior to having the pergola I was only able to do nocturnal bird watching and even owl sighting can get boring after a while.

I opted for this size gazebo because it is just small enough to not require a permit in our municipality. The quality of construction is outstanding and it very, very solid. We paid for the installation at the time of ordering. The guys were quick and efficient and did in 2-3 hours what would have likely taken me 2-3 days! The only thing to be aware of is that the packages where delivered to our driveway and where EXTREMELY heavy to move to a more secure location while we waited for our install appointment. Plan on having some very strong people around to move them!
