The structure is the perfect size for my particular application Assembly took some time and muscle over two weekends. I selected prearranged safe stopping points for each day until it was complete, if you’re patient and take your time it will go well. At one point you do require four people to start the standing up process however after that three people are adequate. The nice part is it is large enough to fit my suburban without any issues.

This review is actually of our XL Saxony Grill pergola…just finally finished installing last week. The pergola was easy to put together. Instructions were very clear, and 3d view was very helpful. My wife and I put as much as possible together in preparation for our sons joining us to connect the four posts and add the roof…it now houses our original outdoor kitchen. It is our 2nd Backyard Discovery pergola (you can see in the picture, behind the Saxony XL, our Arcadia Pergola, which we use primarily for concerts and movies). Great product at a reasonable price! Make sure to read and follow instructions to the T. That made assembly very easy. Also do yourself a favor and pre stain the entire gazebo before you put together. Looking forward to may years of enjoyment

Great quality! Follow the instructions and recruit a few friends. It took two days at a steady pace for two seniors. Thrilled that a few extra pieces of hardware were included “just in case”. A play structure for the grandkids might be the next purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very sturdy and well built! Easy to follow instructions. Quality control is very good. Extra screws and bolts. And if you need touch up stain to fix minor scratches or marks they are happy to send it to you. I would definitely it from them again. If you live in a windy area this is the Gazebo for you.

All shipping and support exceeded expectations. The assembly was not too difficult and the alignment of holes between boards was amazing. On the Roof Assembly (Step 25) I would suggest modifying the 3rd tip: "Layout all roof sections to center and determine equal gaps BEFORE any screws are used." I had a false start and needed to remove screws and adjust. Would be great to see what others have done with their Gazebo. I'm now trying to figure out lights over my grill and smoker and perhaps an exhaust fan.

Quality is very good. Looks great! Assembly is best with 2 people and takes a few hours. Polyurethane all wood parts first. Everyone who has seen it wants one! I put it adjacent to the Backyard Discovery Norwood. Wish they would fit together without a gap.

We absolutely love our Arcadia Gazebo. My husband and I, both in our 60s, assembled it ourselves over two days to protect the front of our house from the Arizona sun. We set it up "backwards" (with the front facing our house so it slants away from the house). Last night we had our first beautiful rain on the "tin" roof. We just love going out to sit on the porch swing, protected from the sun and the rain!

We bought our grill gazebo about a month ago and were able to put it together this weekend. It took us about six hours. Most parts lined up well, some needed “coaxing”. Overall we are very pleased with the results and love the way it looks on our patio. It is our second outdoor structure from Backyard Discovery.

Great kit. Totally happy with the finished product. Put it together really quick by myself but spent at *least* 50% of the entire build time pealing the plastic coating off of the roof pieces. That sucked. Almost have it one star but my wife and I just sat under the gazebo staying dry in the rain. That was lovely. Also...at least for people to put the roof up safely.
