[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a long-time customer who has relied on this product for its classic baby-fresh scent and gentle moisturizing qualities, I was disappointed to find that the recent reformulation no longer aligns with the product I have trusted for years. The new version has a noticeably strong floral fragrance, which is very different from the clean, traditional “baby lotion” smell your customers associate with Johnson & Johnson. In addition, the updated formula seems to dry out my skin rather than leaving it soft and hydrated. This is particularly concerning for a product intended for delicate baby skin. I respectfully request that Johnson & Johnson reconsider this formula change and return to the previous version, or offer it as an alternative option. The original formula’s light scent and reliable moisture made it a staple in many households, including mine.

I have a distinct sense memory of my momma putting this on me and now I’m putting it on my son, what a trip! It really does work and his skin is soft and smooth without any leftover residue! It’s affordable, accessible and easy to find. I just wish the ingredients were slightly more natural. It’s 2025 and we pay attention to these things more than we used to

To be fair I have not tried the new formula….i understand the need for new products, but personally those of us who ysed the original on our own babies and ourselves are disappointed yes…i was at a timeshare and needed a few products and they had a small size of the original! I was so happy!!

I have also used this lotion on myself and wow it works wonders on my ashy elbows. Would definitely trust on my kiddos skin. Great packaging smells great!

I’ve been using this lotion since I was very young and it’s been a staple, but the new lotion is nothing near the same. It’s heavy it smells unwell and I was extremely upset. I had thought I had purchased the wrong one but to find out it was a new formula saddening bring back the old one. If you know where you can get the old one let me know. As for now me and my family will not be purchasing any more Johnson’s and Johnson’s products.
