[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Classic. This is what I associate most with babies especially the scent. It works well, and in a pinch I would choose this but I do prefer non scented just in case there are reactions. It’s thinner than you expect but it spreads well and absorbs fast.

My daughter and I have been long time customers of the original baby lotion. We have both used it daily for over 30 years. We are both extremely disappointed with the new version due to its scent and texture. We have stopped being consumers. We would love if the original product would be brought back.

My wife recently bought a bottle of the so called “new and improved” formula of J & J’s baby lotion, and I have to say that I don’t find anything about it that is better. The new formula leaves my hands sticky which I assume is from the aloe that’s in it, and the new scent leaves a lot to be desired as well. I cannot understand corporations constantly “fixing” things that aren’t broken and don’t need improvement. The original product that worked so well and helped build the behemoth that Johnson & Johnson has become, has once again become out of touch with the consumer and changed a product loved by millions and that performed beautifully. I will never understand corporations need to just change things because they’re bored with the product and tell their staff they need to change and improve things so we can get new customers. We think the consumer has become complacent about our products. So let’s make it exciting and new again. Completely ridiculous. So please at least have the original formula available for those of us who are evidently boring and just like products that work. Oh, and I cannot, in good conscience recommend this new formula to anyone and now it looks like my wife and I have to find another product made by another company that will perform and be as close as possible to the old formula of J & J’s baby lotion to help with our dry skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Johnson's Baby Lotion was gifted to me in exchange for my review. This lotion has a baby powder scent. It smells so fresh and clean on my babies. I really liked how moisturizing it is for their skin. We had no irritation and my children also loved the smell. It was easy to squeeze out and apply. Two thumbs up from us!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not happy with the new fragrance. I have been using this practically my whole life and I can't believe you changed the fragrance. Make a new product if you want to, but don't change the old ones. I do not believe I will buy the same product again because of the fragrance I miss the old fragrance.

This lotion is the WORST We have used it for almost 3 decades and loved it. it was soft, no film, and smelled so light. Create a new scent in a new bottle, but you don't touch a perfect lotion that millions use. Bring back the good lotion. We are now searching for a new lotion. Makes NO sense. It leaves a gross waxy film and the perfume smell makes me sick. I'd also never use this on a baby. It smells like a flower garden. Who makes these decisions? WHY? Don't they realize they had the perfect product You don't fix what isn't broken, BRING IT BACK. We threw away the bottle we bought. THANKS a lot!! We bought this large lotion shortly before I delivered my baby, and just started using it. So it has sat on our shelf (in a dark, cool cabinet) for a few months. We started using this in May or June and, around that same time, I began having intense allergic reactions and symptoms, but we thought it was something in our house. We eventually figured out that my allergies onset after bathtime / when I was holding our baby in the evenings. He never showed any signs of being irritated by this lotion but we have totally ceased using it. The lotion is really soft, and we liked it before, but would not be able to recommend it once realizing how sick it was making me. I was sneezing incessantly, runny nose for 12 hours usually, having to take tons of Zyrtec, bad headaches, and extra poor sleep because I felt so sick. The next morning, I would feel a little better usually, which coincides with a lot of baby's nighttime lotion wearing off. Might be a rare allergic reaction for just a small group of people, but I would not recommend using anything with added fragrance. It is sad because the fragrances smell so sweet, but nothing is worth being sick.

I'm so disappointed you changed the original formula. I've used the original baby lotion for over 20 years. Sure I've tried different kinds that you have come out with over the years but always had the original to fall back on. The new formula leaves your skin sticky. Everything sticks to me. All day long. Socks, scrubs, even my bed sheets at night. It's awful. Now after 20 plus years I've got to start searching for a lotion that is as good as your old formula was.

Where can I get the original formula and scent?! This is awful. I have used this since my first daughter was birn in 1992, for my kids, grandkids, and myself. I cannot stop sneezing from the scent and the new formula does not do what the original did. If anything it makes me itchy and does nothing for moisturizing. Please bring the original baby lotion back!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this lotion! It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. The aloe and Vitamin B5 are soothing, and the scent is fresh but not overpowering. Great for everything use!
