I am DEVASTATED that you changed the formula for the baby lotion!!! My family has used Johnson’s baby lotion for over 30 years. My mom introduced me and my sisters to it as babies, and in turn I’ve used it on my own children since they were babies. As an adult I still use it every single day as my daily moisturizer. This new formula honestly is awful. It’s no where near as moisturizing. It leaves a greasy film instead of absorbing and moisturizing the skin like the previous / original formula. I also miss the original sweet scent. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t keep your original formula and then offer a non scented thinner version or something, as clearly that’s what this new one is. PLEASE, PLEASE bring the original back. I know it might sound silly to be devastated over a new lotion formula but truly, that’s how I feel. My sisters feel the same way. Our mom just passed away 3 months ago and Johnson’s Baby Lotion was her signature scent and lotion that she had used for years and years. And this formula change has just been a big heartbreak. Not just for my own daily lotion preference but also emotionally as it brought so much comfort smelling her scent on a daily basis as I continued to wear it. Please bring the original back!!!

I have always loved Johnson’s baby lotion and it has had a special place in my heart, but when they changed the bottle, they also changed the formula. At first when I got it, I noticed it smelled different from the original, and was a little sad but continued to use it anyway. Later that night I noticed my throat felt funny but thought that it might be something I ate or drank. I got suspicious when it got worse and looked at the ingredients, something I didn’t do because I thought the formula was the same. Instead of the classic mineral oil in the ingredients, it had been replaced with... coconut oil. This product is claimed to be hypoallergenic, but what they didn’t realize is that any type of nut or nut oil is a very common allergy. I have a severe allergy to coconuts and coconut oil, and the worst part is I developed this allergy when I was extremely young and when I used to carry a bottle of Johnson’s around in my pocket (the original formula, thank you). It makes me extremely sad because this lotion I have trusted and used every since I was little. They need to go back to the original improved formula. (P.s: i don’t have a child but it wouldn’t allow me to select a “no age” for the youngest child category for the review so I just put my age)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Johnson's Baby Lotion is amazing. I love the light fresh scent and that it leaves a child and adult as well (I use it daily) feeling absolutely silky soft without all of the harsh chemicals found in other lotions.

My wife and mother purchased this for the kids and they hate it. We are now trying to locate retailers near us that may still have a few of the original lotions in stock. So far we are not in luck. Where retailers still carry the old scent (local or online) in Columbia, SC?

The design of the bottle and the pump is nice and convenient and easy to to dispense the lotion. I really enjoyed the coconut oil scent, it was mild and not too overpowering. My baby's skin was so soft and smooth and rich with moisture after using the Baby Lotion. I even found myself stealing pumps of the lotion for myself it's so great.

I have been using the original baby lotion for years and now to have to have it switched to this new horrible smelling lotion is ridiculous!!!! Who idea was it to change it and not leave the original scent for the people who want to continue to use the original scent. Whatever meeting Johnson's & Johnson's need to have to bring this back need to happen ASAP!!!!!!!!!

I bought the Johnson's baby lotion (1000 Ml and 500 Ml)--your new packaging is terrible. The tube reaches down about 90% in the container--after that you cannot get the rest of the cream out because the bottle is sealed. As a result, I have had to throw out at least 2 to 3 oz. of product. You really need to return to your original packaging, this is nothing short of a con-job. After all these years you have lost me

I have purchased this baby lotion for myself for the past 20 years and for my babies as well. I recently ran out of my old formula bottle and purchased a new one. I was shocked at the difference. It makes my skin itch, the smell is not pleasant and it does not soak in like it used to. I’m so bummed. I will have to look for another option now.

I have been using Johnson's baby lotion for over 40 years and I'm going to switch to a new lotion because of the new bottle and the new formula. The last 1/10 of the bottle cannot be used AND the bottle can't be recycled now because of the new impossible top. I am very angry that Johnson's took a step backwards in the Eco-friendly department and is trying to rip off customers by making us throw 1/10 of the lotion in the landfill! The new formula doesn't smell as good either! Take a lesson from New Coke!! Don't change an old favorite!! Bye bye Johnson's!

I have used Johnson's Baby Lotion since I was a kid, and I am now 60 years old. I have to ask why the bottle was changed. When there's still plenty of lotion in the bottom, but the pump will not get any more of it out, there's no way to get the top off to get the last of the lotion. While this product is reasonably priced and a very good product to use daily, it is disappointing that the last of the lotion just gets discarded.
