Product Quality

this product did not last a year and half before having problems. the picture went out for a few days then came back on with a line of pixels missing. samsung needs to do better. the product should have been built better.

Please run a Picture Test to determine if the problem is caused by the TV. Picture Test displays a high-definition picture you can examine for flaws or faults. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test If this occurs on all sources and the picture test, this will require service. - If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service processed. - If you're within the one-year warranty, please contact Samsung Customer Support to initiate service. - If you are past the time of warranty, please contact us for out-of-warranty service. Good quality but not user friendly

the picture quality is very good but the smart tv is not easy to navigate. we have had the tv shut off on it's own a couple times or shut down the app we were watching.

If your TV appears to turn off by itself, try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions. See if Sleep Timer has been enabled. The Sleep Timer automatically turns the TV off after a specific period of time. Go to: Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer If the Sleep Timer has not been enabled, see if Auto Power Off or Off Timer have been enabled and disable it. - Settings > General > Power and Energy Saving > Auto Power Off - Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Off Timer If the TV continues to turn off by itself continuously, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Inexpensive

sound isnt great…i bought for my eirkout room. cant hear very well over the sound of a treadmill.

Hi YMIM, Thank you for sharing your experience with low volume on the TU7000. There are several volume features you can adjust that may help. 1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume. 2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound. 3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might be set too low. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again. If you need more help, Samsung is here for you.
